Selena Gomez has announced that she’s calling off the rest of her Revival world tour due to some pretty upsetting health problems.

The singer is experiencing anxiety, depression and panic attacks caused by lupus, the autoimmune disease that she revealed she was battling last year, and now she’s decided to take time out to deal with it all.

‘As many of you know, around a year ago I revealed that I have lupus, an illness that can affect people in different ways,’ Selena, 24, says in a statement.

‘I’ve discovered that anxiety, panic attacks and depression can be side effects of lupus, which can present their own challenges.

“I want to be proactive and focus on maintaining my health and happiness and have decided that the best way forward is to take some time off.

‘Thank you to all my fans for your support. You know how special you are to me, but I need to face this head on to ensure I am doing everything possible to be my best.’

Selena has also spoken of her hope that her speaking out about this issue might be helpful to others.

‘I know I am not alone by sharing this,’ she says in the statement to People magazine. ‘I hope others will be encouraged to address their own issues.’

The Lupus Research Alliance are pleased that Selena is being so open about her condition, with co-CEO and co-president Kenneth M. Farber saying: ’It is not commonly known that depression, anxiety and panic attacks can be side effects of lupus.

‘We are so proud of Selena for taking care of herself and bringing awareness to this sometimes very misunderstood illness.’

Last year Selena revealed that being diagnosed with lupus was the reason behind her previously cancelling some of a tour back in 2013 as she had to have chemotherapy to treat it.

At the time fans were quick to show their support for the star and they’ve once again been getting behind her as she faces a fresh health battle.

Selena’s fanbase have been posting the hashtag #getwellsoonselena on her Instagram page and it’s clear that they’ll be standing by her throughout it all.

This news comes just a couple of weeks after Selena ended up in an online spat with ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber after he complained about receiving hate over photos of him and rumoured girlfriend Sofia Richie.

Selena later appeared to regret getting involved as she posted a Snapchat message saying: ‘What I said was selfish and pointless’

Here’s hoping Selena has a speedy recovery.

The couple have been spending quality time together

Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan are remaining defiant despite recent reports about the state of their marriage.

After returning from a holiday in Majorca the couple spent a night in together on Tuesday evening and Mark, 29, posted a very telling photo as they tucked into a takeaway meal.

The snap shows Michelle’s hand grabbing some food – with her wedding ring very much on display.

And as if that wasn’t clear enough, a photo of the pair can also be seen close to the television.

The sighting of 29-year-old Michelle’s rock comes after she has often been seen without it in recent weeks.

It’s also a pretty big statement following a difficult few weeks for the Wrights, with Mark having become involved in a couple of dramas at V Festival whilst Michelle was away filming upcoming ITV drama Tina And Bobby in Manchester.

As Now reported this week, Mark was spotted looking pretty cosy with a mystery woman at the event as he watched Justin Bieber perform.

He cuddled her for an hour during the set and serenaded her with Justin’s tune Company before carrying her on his back to the VIP area afterwards.

Mark has insisted that this was innocent, calling speculation about the mystery woman ‘absolute nonsense’ on Twitter this week.

It wasn’t the only incident that might have caused trouble between him and Michelle though.

The former TOWIE star also ended up in a feud with Danny Dyer after the EastEnders actor accused Mark’s friends of ‘jumping’ him in a scuffle at the event and the whole thing apparently left Michelle ‘mortified’.

‘Her career is on the rise so she’s trying to keep her distance,’ an insider tells us. ‘But she’s incredibly worried about the effect this could have on Mark’s future and her own.’

In the meantime it looks like Mark and Michelle are determined not to let any cracks show, with the pair posing for a loved-up shot together on Instagram over the weekend during their holiday.

Despite cheating on his girlfriend in the house, trashing it several times, and being generally insufferable, no one was really surprised when Stephen Bear won Celebrity Big Brother.

He practically won it by default as everyone else’s role in the house was to scowl at him and/or get into unconvincing romances. But no one expected him to claim that his ex-girlfriend, Lillie Lexie Gregg, cheated on HIM.

On Loose Women last night, the CBB winner hinted that he’d been the victim of infidelity.

He told the panel: ‘The last two girls I have been with cheated on me.’

Which logically concludes that he means one of those girls was Lillie. Isn’t this just saying, “I know you are but what am I?”

Meanwhile, his ex-girlfriend is NOT happy with the allegations. She clarified to fans on Twitter, ‘Wow, how dare you.. Quite happy to go to the extent of a lie detector test on this one. Theres only one cheat and it certainly wasn’t me.

‘Categorically not true. That is my only comment.’

Lillie is also shrugging off Stephen Bear on her Instagram. Filming a video with her friend, she says: ‘So it’s a girls’ night and this is my date.’

She shows the t-shirt that says: ‘No boyfriend, no problem.’

And she adds: ‘I thought this top was appropriate.’

That definitely was an appropriate burn.

It certainly a bit less dramatic from the last time the pair met. During his stint in CBB, Stephen Bear ended up hooking up with fellow contestant Chloe Khan, despite having a girlfriend on the outside.

Part of one of the distraction tasks, Lillie Lexie Gregg entered the house to confront Bear. There she told the Ex On the Beach star that he had ‘humiliated’ her.

First off 28-year-old Gaz looked to be going for the Jim Carrey in Dumb And Dumber vibe when he was getting his barnet done, with his locks swept forward onto his face as the barber got to work.

Then the reality star showed in a close-up snap that he’d got some little curls going on on the top, despite keeping the sides shaved, and eventually posed for a selfie with his kinked mane fully on display.

Gaz also posted the end image on Instagram and it received quite a mixed reaction from fans.

Some were in favour, with one admirer writing: ‘Much better’

Others definitely weren’t so keen though.

‘It actually looks like you are wearing a toupee ! Cannot deal,’ one Instagram user commented.

Another posted: ‘this hairstyle is a no no’

Gaz soon reassured his followers on Twitter that he wouldn’t be keeping the experimental do – though he’s actually rather fond of it.

‘And my snap chat it isn’t permanent but I do kind of like it,’ the Newcastle lad confessed.

It certainly didn’t last long as Gaz proved he’s wearing his hair straight again the following morning in a Snapchat selfie posted from a photoshoot with Geordie Shore co-star Aaron Chalmers.

Well it was interesting while it lasted, eh?

The brief transformation comes at an exciting time for Gaz as he shared some big plans on social media this week.

On Wednesday morning he revealed that he’s going to be jetting off to some exotic locations in the near future and he’s pretty psyched about it.

‘Trips getting planned to Brazil and South Africa,’ Gaz told his Twitter fans.

Ooh! Who knows, maybe we’ll get to see some more, um, interesting hair styles from Gaz in these sunny locations?

Let's hope they move past this

While other Love Island couples are moving in together, it looks like Sophie Gradon and Tom Powell have put the breaks on their relationship as they claim they’ve hit a ‘rocky road’.

The pair were due to follow in the footsteps of Olivia Buckland and Alex Bowen and move in together, but after Sophie deleted her Twitter account, fans started to suspect something was up.

Tom tried to reassure fans on Twitter by saying: ‘For everyone asking Sophie is fine she’s just having some quality time with her family and didn’t want any distractions’

However, it seems not everything is okay in the Love Island camp. It a recent Snapchat Q&A, Sophie was asked whether her and Tom were moving in together.

She replied: ‘We were but we’ve had a bit of a rocky road. I don’t know what’s happening but we’re just going to see.’

A joke too far?

Coronation Street bosses found themselves in a spot of controversy this week, as some loyal viewers deemed a portion of recent dialogue as ‘racist’ and ‘racially insensitive’.

In the episode that aired on Bank Holiday Monday (29^th August), a scene between characters Eva Price and Audrey Roberts featured a strange punch line that made joking reference to a black slave character from American historical literature – and now, the production team have apologised for any offence caused.

Those who saw the edition of the ITV soap were concerned as Eva (Catherine Tyldesley) uttered the line to hairdresser Audrey (Sue Nicholls):

‘I’ve got more roots than Kunta Kinte! No idea who that is, by the way, it’s something my mum used to say.’

For many, instant reactions included:

For ‘Eva’, and anyone else who’s unaware: Kunta Kinte was a character in novel Roots: The Saga of an American Family and its 1977 TV show adaptation, Roots. The plot depicted Kunta navigating the horrors of slavery and his ancestors from 1700s and 1800s onwards.

Pretty heavy subject matter – so it’s odd that Corrie writers would use that as a basis for a joke about dark roots…!

After fans of the show took to social media to voice their disappointment, show bosses put out a simple statement saying: ‘We apologise if this dialogue has caused offence.’

Though the lines inclusion in the episode had a comic intent, we can’t help but think that if the joke’s based upon a very specific and painful event with the probability of upsetting millions of people, it’s probably worth a rewrite…

For former X Factor contestant Monica Michael, that’s exactly the case – as she’s revealed her incredible FIVE-STONE weight loss, and she’s absolutely glowing!

London lady Monica left last year’s competition in the third week of the live shows in 8th place, after that infamous fumble from then-presenter Olly Murs…

…but since then, she’s been working on revamping her image.

The 2015 series alumnus appeared on the This Morning sofa on Wednesday (31^st August), and hosts Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford, as well as viewers at home, marveled at her transformation.

‘I’ve lost five-stone, in about a year and six months,’ Monica revealed, wearing a form-fitting black jean and top combo.

I’va always battled with my weight, it’s always been a problem of mine,’ she revealed. ‘At primary school I was always ‘the chubby one’, and I put on even more at secondary school.’

But when she was on tour with Blue last year, she felt ‘unhealthy’, and decided to do something about it.

‘I remember coming off the stage, going into my dressing room and then just crying my eyes out, thinking “I feel disgusting.”‘

At 15 and a half stone, she was the heaviest she’d even been, and found that ‘fad diets’ weren’t working for her – so she made the drastic decision to get a gastric band fitted in April 2015.

‘Food was my addiction, I couldn’t control it. So I thought “what should I do? Wait until I have high blood pressure? Wait until I’m 25 stone, have the surgery and then have excess skin to deal with?’

Currently 26 years old, her decision to have the surgery was a little controverisal, since she’d be thought of as young enough to go the natural route. Nevertheless, she looks so happy with herself now – and fans online completely agreed!

The main thing is that she feels content and confident within herself – and bigger or smaller, she’s beautiful no matter what!

And Love Island fan favourite Kady McDermott has felt the sour side of this burden, as her Twitter account has been hacked – with some highly questionable pictures tweeted out to the public!

It was clear that something was up with Hertfordshire native Kady’s profile on Wednesday (31^st August), when her usual profile name was replaced by the name ‘Heidy Jordan’.

As if that weren’t suspect enough, instead of the usual pictures of enviable makeup styles, outfit inspo and cute selfies with boyfriend Scott Thomas, some very NSFW, unrelated photos were attached to her account, instead:

Yowza.

Attaching links to ‘her photos’ and the opportunity for ‘cam chat’, it was very clear that Kady’s account had been taken over by a troll, and this wasn’t her at all.

Within minutes, the real Kady, 20, regained access to her Twitter – and sent out a desperate plea to her followers: ‘My Twitter has been hacked!!!’

Clearly distressed, the reality star turned to her army of followers for advice on making sure that this doesn’t happen again – and the response was pretty unanimous… ‘change your password’!

Steph has suggested that there COULD be a special someone around though, but with any relationship would want to take things slowly as her unborn child is her priority.

‘I wouldn’t put the relationship anywhere, or in anyone’s face until we’d been going out for a long time and I was 100 per cent ready to introduce him into my son’s life,’ the former Hollyoaks star writes in her OK! column.

‘Right now I’m just enjoying myself though and I’m happy and that’s the main thing, but time will tell and we’ll see but right now I’m really really happy and things couldn’t be going better.’

It comes after Steph sparked speculation that she might be seeing someone when she posted a photo featuring a mystery man last week.

‘Ahhhhh…he waited for me all day while I got my hair done… ☺☺️,’ Steph captioned an Instagram shot where the unidentified fella can be seen sitting next to her.

She also hinted at a possible romance with her use of the boy and girl holding hands emoji in a Tweet earlier this month.

Ooh, very intriguing! Man or no man, Steph is focusing on her pregnancy and will undergo her final scan next week before her son’s arrival.

The star’s last relationship was famously with Celebrity Big Brother co-star Jeremy McConnell, the man she says is the father of her baby despite his denials.

The singer’s daughter Lilly McFadden delivered a spectacularly sassy comeback to a Twitter troll on Wednesday when they slated the gifts that Kerry bought eldest daughter Molly for her 15th birthday.

Molly received a Michael Kors watch from Kerry, 35, whilst Kerry’s ex-husband George Kay bought the teenager a chocolate labrador puppy.

This sparked some nasty remarks from one Twitter user, something Lilly had a brilliantly sarcastic response to.

‘your right my mother is a vile person I hate her all she got my sister is a choc lab puppy & a diamond mk watch I’m ashamed,’ Lilly, 13, fired back.

‘and before you ask how she payed for it in typical Kerry katona style she sold one of her kids for it miss you dj :(‘

Ooh, BURN! Lilly then made her point abundantly clear when she added: ‘It’s so horrible having a wicked twisted mother who will go to the ends of the earth to please me and my sibling grrr I hate my life’

Kerry seemed pretty proud of her daughter’s response to the haters and joked along on Twitter.

‘What a horrible mother I am,’ the Atomic Kitten star quipped.

Molly and Lilly – who Kerry had with first husband Brian McFadden – obviously know how to stand up for themselves and Kerry hopes that Lilly’s latest Tweets will get the message across.

‘Sooner or later people are gonna realise they shouldn’t mess with my kids,’ the mum-of-five Tweeted.

Lilly’s feisty comeback earned her lots of fans online too, with many praising her sense of humour.

Despite the trolls it looks like Molly had a great birthday and was thrilled with her presents.

The girls clearly love their mum to bits but Kerry still manages to embarrass them from time to time though.

After posting a photo of Molly to wish her a happy birthday on Twitter, the teenager admitted she didn’t like her parent’s choice of picture and commented: ‘I hate this photo delete delete delete’

Ahh never mind Kerry, you can’t win ‘em all!

Kanye West is no stranger to weird rider requests and his one for the Pablo tour is no exception.

And it looks like his wife Kim Kardashian is especially happy with his choice: a frozen Hennessy and coke alongside frozen Grey Goose and lemonade.

Sharing the post on snapchat, she captioned it: ‘Pablo rider is LIT’.

But this is actually tame compared to the riders he’s had in the past. While touring with Jay Z, the list got pretty weird. In a list given to TMZ, Beyoncé‘s hubby asked for a 71 degree temperature in the room (that’s 21 degrees C) and 3 $80 Mayan tuberose-scented candles is strange enough.

Kanye takes it to the next level. He asks that all vases must be cylindrical. Why would that even be a request? CYLINDRICAL VASES.

He also wanted the staff to acquire a Genelecs 1031a speaker… which wouldn’t be too bad, if it hadn’t been discontinued ten years ago. He also wanted three bottles of Hennessy, so some things he doesn’t grow out of.

Way back in 2007, he had fewer alcoholic demands, but, boy, you don’t want to get his soft drink orders wrong.

Not only did he want 24 500ml bottles of non-carbonated spring – not purified – water, but 24 Propel Water, which is labelled as a ‘must have’.

You’d think one of the most successful rappers in the world would want at least a drop of liquor, but he instead settles for a cheese and cracker tray for eight that must be covered with plastic wrap. He also wanted two LARGE (that was capitalised and bolded in the rider request) fruit trays, including watermelon, cantaloupe, pineapple, white and red grapes, and strawberries.

Maybe living with Kim Kardashian has driven Kanye West to drink.

The loved-up couple have hit a big bump in the road

Brooklyn Beckham and Chloe Grace Moretz have called time on their relationship – days after Now revealed the story of their first BIG fight.

The pair – who started dating earlier this year after briefly being linked back in 2014 – are thought to have split when 17-year-old Brooklyn was in Los Angeles with his family in recent weeks.

And things certainly didn’t look good for the young lovers when we spotted them heading to an Adele concert in LA separately on 21 August, with our sources confirming that their bust up was so bad they’re no longer talking.

‘Brooklyn had left Chloe at a Coldplay concert earlier in the week so when they went to the Adele concert separately it was a dead giveaway about how bad things have become,’ an insider tells Now.

‘Brooklyn was there with Romeo and Chloe was there with her mom and they barely glanced in each other’s direction.’

The young couple have been totally loved up since getting together, with Brooklyn spending increasing amounts of time in the US to be with Chloe. So what’s going on?

A friend of Brooklyn’s tells Now: ‘They’ve been fighting a lot and Brooklyn’s admitted he thinks it’s over. They’ll often have a fall-out, usually over her wanting to go out to parties and him wanting to hang with her one-on-one, and not speak for days.

‘Brooklyn’s usually the one to reach out to her first and patch things up, but this time it’s not looking good.’

Poor old Brooklyn’s not taken the split well, and when Now spotted him out having dinner with Cody Simpson three days after the Adele concert, he barely raised a smile.

‘Brooklyn’s completely miserable,’ his friend adds. ‘It’s not the first time they’ve fallen out but this time it’s been so public and obvious it’s been really tough on him.

‘Everyone’s hoping they get back together, including his mum Victoria but his mates aren’t sure. They think it could be over for good.’

We certainly hope not, they made such a cute couple…

Brooklyn has since been seen returning to London with his famous family this week whilst Chloe, 19, has remained in Los Angeles.

Poor Louise.

There’s many things we love about Bake Off. The innuendos (Did you hear Mary Berry saying she ‘wants to eat the carpet’ on Wednesday night?! Yeah, we know!), the triumphs and, of course, the disasters.

And Welsh hairdresser and baker Louise had an absolute shocker on week two, didn’t she? Poor lamb.

Firstly Mary and Paul were NOT impressed with her uneven sheep biscuits, then her Viennese Swirls saw her in the bottom two, and THEN her gingerbread church, which was supposed to represent the church she is planning on getting married in (awks), came crumbling down into a big, splodgy mess.

We didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. We’re not sure Louise knew what to do either.

But even though she got the boot from the show, the lovely Bake Off viewers have been rallying around her…

I think we all yelped, Mia!

Even Fearne Cotton felt Louise’s pain…

And while some were sympathetic, others found the whole thing pretty funny..

Then there were weird observations…

And, then there were the utter disappointments…

As she said her goodbyes, and Nanna Val looked utterly confused that she had made it through, Louise remained stoic, ‘I came. I tried. I had a disaster. I’m going home,’ she said with her gingerbread church no doubt being nibbled on my squirrels behind the tent.

And while she packed her bags and headed back to Wales, the remaining 10 bakers remained hopeful.

It was a successful week for PE teacher and lipstick pro, Candice, whose family pub gingerbread house saw her named as star baker and last week’s star Jane also remained up there along with Kate who won the technical challenge.

So, we think it’s fair to say that the game is still wide open.

So what pickles will this lot end up in next week?

Oo, we can’t wait to find out.

Don't kill a dinosaur on TV

Made In Chelsea star Ollie Locke has got in hot water for ‘abusing animals’, according to animal rights activists.

The reality star hasn’t been particularly mean on his badger hunt though – it was for killing a crocodile while on TV. Ollie was filming scenes for The Island with Bear Grylls, which saw him jump on the crocodile’s back and stab it in the neck repeatedly.

‘I feel it is totally unacceptable to kill or abuse animals for entertainment,’ Ian Knight of International Animal Rescue told The Sun.

The activist explained that the reptile would have ‘suffered unnecessarily’ as Ollie would not have the skills to be able to kill it ‘humanely’.

Ollie Locke is particularly uncomfortable with killing the animal in the show, which sees celebrities try to survive on a remote island for two weeks. He’s eventually encouraged to do it by fellow contestant Karen Danczuk.

A Channel 4 spokesperson replied to comments: ‘Those on the island all received training on how to kill animals humanely and this was utilised properly in each instance.’

The show has come under fire in the past. Last year, a group of female contestants captured a pig while it slept and killed it to eat later. It ended up being the third pig slaughtered on the show in just two weeks.

An RSPCA spokesperson commented at the time: ‘The RSPCA opposes practices that cause animals pain, suffering or death in the name of entertainment. It’s unacceptable and could easily cause great distress to the animals.

‘There’s no excuse for using animals in stunts that carry a high risk of them being harmed.’

Whilst many of us might just treat our fella to perhaps a bottle of aftershave or some such, Kyles went far beyond that on Wednesday when she revealed that she’d bought her rapper beau a BENTLEY car.

Kylie, 19, revealed the lavish gift on Snapchat and explained how she’d almost been busted when bloggers caught sight of her at the car dealership.

‘[The blogs] said me and T were at the Bentley dealership when really it was only me,’ the reality star explained as she filmed the motor.

‘And I had to lie to T, and say, “I have no idea, T, what that story is. I was not at a Bentley dealership.” But I was.’

Kylie then filmed herself approaching Tyga, 26, and saying: ‘Did I lie to you?’

The rapper – whose real name is Michael Ray Stevenson – was obviously thrilled with the generous gift and replied: ‘I’m speechless right now’

Kylie also shared a clip of Tyga doing a little dance before giving him a kiss, but she’s still not happy at those bloggers for nearly spoiling the surprise.

‘The blogs almost f***ing ruined it,’ she added in one of the videos.

It comes after stories emerged suggesting that Tyga’s Ferrari had been repossessed whilst he and Kylie were shopping for a Bentley but it turned out that Kylie had actually arranged for someone to hide it whilst she chose a new vehicle for him.

Tyga spoke out about the whole thing on Snapchat, telling his followers: ‘When ur lil baby cops u the Bentley truck and hides your Ferrari. Guess I can’t be mad’

The pair made the most of the chic motor later on on Wednesday by arriving at a party in it in Los Angeles.

One question remains – if this is what Kylie gets her man as just a little treat then what on earth will she get him for Christmas?!
