This is despite the TOWIE couple dating for TWO years and Ricky picking out a ring. Yowch.
They were together for two and a half years before splitting up seven months ago, but it seems there’s still a whole lottta bad blood between TOWIE’s Jessica Wright and Ricky Rayment.
Speaking in an interview with the Sun on Sunday’s Fabulous magazine, she said: ‘I don’t even know if I’ve ever been in love. Not genuine, respectful, deep love – I’m not actually quite sure if I have ever had that, which is weird.’
She added: ‘It’s upsetting because I’m 29, you know?’
For Ricky, who apparently was all set to propose before Jess went nuclear on camera, her words have got to hurt.
The pair split up in typical dramatic TOWIE fashion after Jess discovered Ricky had been sending flirty texts to ‘some 20 year old’.
Who can forget their on-screen screaming match at the end of last year with Jess spitting: ‘You have humiliated me since day one. I have rowed with my family over you. You are a liar. You don’t love me.’
Ricky, who is five years younger than Jess, responded by saying: ‘I haven’t been in a good place with you, so I have been flirting with other girls.’
Maybe try talking it out next time Ricky, not texting hot girls…
Any chance of a resolution went out the window after Ricky branded Jess ‘boring as f**k’ and even committed the cardinal sin of talking about the couple’s sex life – or lack of it – on camera.
Did you really think Jess was going to let you get off lightly for that one, Ricky?
The pair have been bickering over social media ever since. In fact, Jess has made so many digs, it’s amazing she hasn’t hit Australia.
Matters have not been helped by Ricky’s increasingly serious relationship with Geordie Shore star Marnie Simpson, whom he met in January.
In an exclusive interview with Now, Ricky confessed Marnie was The One and that the pair were even talking marriage and babies.
And as proof that she is for keeps, Ricky has recently unveiled an M tattoo as a sign of his commitment.
But it sounds like Jess may have already found a Mr Wright of her own. She hints that she ‘may have met someone’, but is keeping coy about the details.
Somehow we don’t think this is going to stop either Jess or Ricky sniping at each other…
