Liz uploaded the throwback photo of the ex-lovebirds on her Instagram account to coincide with #tbt and we can’t get over just how old the snap is.
In the photo, Liz and Hugh can be seen to be gazing lovingly into each other’s eyes, whilst Liz rocks a backwards cap, because obviously. Got to love nineties fashion, right?

Liz and Hugh dated for thirteen years after meeting on the set of 1987 film Remando Al Viento and have remained close friends ever since.
She captioned the nostalgic nineties snap: ‘#Throwbackthursday Nostalgia Day. Me and HG, 23 years ago’ followed by a kiss face emoji.
Oh you guys.
Liz admitted on Jonathan Ross earlier this year that: ‘We’re best friends. He lives next door to me and he’s godfather to my son and I’m godmother to one of his children.
‘We’ve been apart for longer than we were together. We were together for 13 years and then we’ve been best friends for 15.’
Whilst Liz might already be godmother to one of Hugh’s children, it’s possible she might be about to become a godmother again, as it’s rumoured that Hugh is expecting his fourth child.
His on-off girlfriend Anna Elisabet Eberstein has been spotted with a substantial baby bump.
The pair have a three-year-old son John Mungo Grant who was born in September 2012.
The actor also has two children with ex-girlfriend Tinglan Hong – Tabitha and Felix.
