The X Factor's Brodie Kelly has been hiding a little secret...
Well last night’s X Factor was full of surprises, wasn’t it?
Between Rita Ora’s flirting and Monica Michael’s big return, contestant Brodie Kelly has been hiding a teeny tiny little secret.
The 18-year-old Waitrose worker who melted the hearts of the nation with his rendition of Plain White T’s Hey There Delilah isn’t the only member of his family to find fame on the country’s biggest talent show.
His actual cousin is none other than Jaymi Hensley off of Union J fame.
You remember them, right? The four floppy haired lads from that came fourth in 2012 and have since gone on to tour the world, make a few albums and even release their own action figures.
The proud big cousin tweeted his support for Brodie before the show, writing: ‘Everyone make sure you watch my cousin @MrBrodieKelly on @TheXFactor tonight !!! #xfactorfamily’
Simon Cowell couldn’t contain his excitement at the pop hopeful either, exclaiming ‘he looks great on camera’ mid-way through his performance.
Something the majority of the country was also thinking.
One over excited Twitter user wrote: ‘I think I’ve fallen in love with Brodie’. While another posted: ‘yeah may have just fell in love with that Brodie Kelly on Xfactor wow’
Taking it all in his stride, the man himself simply posted a shy selfie following the show with the caption: ‘mood’
