This lady's been around for a long time - but has only had a few lines
Jane Slaughter as EastEnders' Tracey, 2015
EastEnders has been through its ups and downs over the years (the less said about that pastagate episode the better) but one thing that’s always stayed the same is the presence of legendary barmaid Tracey.
Yep, since the very first episode back in 1985 the beloved Tracey – played by Jane Slaughter – has been a quiet member of the cast, working away at the flower stall before becoming perhaps the world’s longest-serving member of the staff at the Queen Vic.
She might be a woman of mystery – having uttered just a handful of lines in more than 30 years on the show – but Tracy is a favourite with viewers. Many even threatened to stop watching the show when the character was SACKED from the pub in April 2017.
Fortunately she was soon offered another job by Vincent Hubbard and it looks like she’ll be sticking around after her many years of service. But just who is the iconic Tracey? Here’s everything you need to know…
She’s the longest-serving female cast member
Tracey’s been a stalwart of the soap since it first aired, meaning she joins Ian Beale (played by Adam Woodyatt) as one of the longest-serving characters of the cast. Impressive.
She’s had a tough time
She might be quiet but it hasn’t always kept poor Trace out of the trouble – in 2005 Sam Mitchell hit her with a crowbar (OUCH) whilst in 2008 Archie Mitchell forced her to be a cleaner as well as a barmaid, resulting in her eventually quitting the pub. Thankfully she returned.
Her love life has been dramatic
In 2003 Tracey had a one-night stand with Dennis Rickman, who then returned her knickers to her across the bar – ooh-er. More recently Ian revealed that Tracey had been through ‘two divorces’ in all of her years working at the Queen Vic – looks like you’ve been missing out on some major storyline opportunities with this one, EastEnders writers!
She waited a LONG time to get a major plot line
Speaking of storylines, Tracey ended up with a pivotal part in a juicy one in 2015 when Kathy Beale sensationally returned from the dead. Kathy phoned the pub and Tracey answered, giving the loyal barmaid perhaps the most lines she’d had in years. Actress Jane said at the time: ‘It is fantastic to be involved at this level. My scenes for this were with Danny Dyer and Steve McFadden, both of whom I love working with. I was chuffed to bits.’
She was once a suspect for murder
Bookies had Tracey down as a favourite when the Who Killed Archie Mitchell? story played out in 2009. Stacey Slater turned out to be the true murderer but hey, at least it was a bit of drama for our favourite barmaid.
She’s quite different in real life
Jane was a child star but had started to give up on acting as an adult when EastEnders’ co-creater Julie Smith remembered her and offered her the role of Tracey. The actress admits she hoped to get ‘a year’s work’ out of it – and all these years later she’s still around! In real life she’s had two children and says she’s a lot more chatty than her famously silent alter ego.
‘I’m so bowled over by the affection people have for Tracey,’ she told Radio Times in 2011. ‘My mother thinks it’s hilarious. She says, “Silent Tracey! If only people knew how much you talked!”’ LOLs.

Holly Willoughby
'This Morning' TV show, London, UK - 27 Mar 2017
Holly Willoughby has been on our telly screens for so long we can barely remember a time when she wasn’t waking us up on This Morning or making us LOL on Celeb Juice.
Which is why fans were so shocked to see a throwback snap on Thursday evening showing a completely unrecognisable version of the star.
The cute snap – uploaded by London Studios – shows Holly in her early career posing with her former S Club TV co-stars a whole 17-years ago.
Side note: If you didn’t manage to catch the kids show in the early noughties – S Club TV saw a bunch of young actors and actresses performing as an alternative S Club.
And sat next to stars such as Hollywood actor, Ben Barnes and newsreader Amy Garcia, 36-year-old Holly looks a world away from her glamorous persona.
‘Today @hollywills is at @TMLiveEvent ..17 years ago she was in Studio 3 for S Club TV on CITV! #ThrowbackThursday @ChildrensITV,’ The London Studios wrote on Twitter as they shared the adorable snap with their 7k followers.
But this isn’t the first time Holly caused a social media storm this week after she shared her own selfie with fellow morning telly presenter, Piers Morgan on Wednesday.
After posting the snap on Instagram along with the caption: ‘Lovely afternoon with @thepiersmorgan… Thank you for a wonderful lunch’, the star received huge backlash from her fans.

While some revealed they were ‘disappointed’ in Holly for hanging out with the controversial GMB presenter, some even threatened to unfollow her on social media!
Although fans probably changed their minds when they realised they wouldn’t be able to see the star’s cute throwbacks if they clicked the unfollow button…

One Direction - Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Niall Horan
American Music Awards, Arrivals, Los Angeles, America - 24 Nov 2013
If we go back just five years, you could barely turn on the TV, log in to Twitter or turn on the radio without hearing 1D – whether it was their music, their tour dates, or their merchandise, the handsome lads from X Factor were inescapable, and we loved it!
However, the world’s a lot different in 2017, and One Direction as we know it is no more. Zayn Malik quit in 2015, and the other four have been on hiatus since January 2016.
But if you thought the boys would be merely sitting back and enjoying their millions and the attention of adoring fans worldwide, you’d be wrong. From films (Harry Styles), to fatherhood (hello, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson), the boys have been hard at work with their fingers in many pies.
The music, however, is where their hearts really lie – and with the release of Liam’s debut single Strip That Down, all five of them have released their first song.
So naturally, we’ve ranked each of their efforts from worst (least favourite?) to best, in the humble opinions of those in the Now magazine office. Give us YOUR judgements @CelebsNow…
Liam Payne, Strip That Down – released May 2017
Unfortunately, it wasn’t a case of leaving the best ‘til last for Liam. Despite being written by hitmaker Ed Sheeran, something about Strip That Down isn’t quite clicking instantly for us.
Perhaps it’s the ‘Hey! Hey! Hey!’ refrain, or perhaps we’re a little tired of the early-Noughties formula of singing about girls grinding up against guys in the club – but this’ll need a few more plays before it gets a prime position on our Summer playlists…
(Though that doesn’t change the fact that if we hear it this weekend, we’ll give it a cheeky two-step. We’re only human.)
Louis Tomlinson/Steve Aoki, Just Hold On – released December 2016
Released as a joint project with American DJ Steve Aoki, Louis’ debut was an electro-dance-pop hit that while fun enough to jump around to on a beach holiday, hasn’t quite stood the test of time. Be honest with yourself – are you still listening to it today?
Niall Horan, This Town – released September 2016
Niall’s folksy, guitar-led single was quite a mellow debut – but sweet enough for fans of classic 1D tearjerkers. Most likely to make you think about your first crush, it’s wholesome and full of earnest – just what we’d expect from the Horan…
Harry Styles, Sign of the Times – released April 2017
VOCALS. DRAMA. EMOTION. Just three words that came to mind when Mr Styles’ epic rock tune was first introduced to our ears. It’s a grown-up and self-assured start for Harry, and we think it paves the way for a long and successful solo career.
(Side note: he looks pretty smokin’ in the vid too…)
Zayn Malik, Pillowtalk – released January 2016
The first, and in our eyes, the best. A genuine, R&B smash, Zayn’s sultry effort shot to #1 around the world nearly instantly, and we think it’s clear to hear why.
Full of *swag*, the Bradford boy came out strong with Pillowtalk – and we think he too will be making bangers for a long time. Take a bow, Zayn!
Caroline Flack opens up about what she thinks of the new line up
As the winter months finally turn to summer, it can mean only one thing – it’s almost time for the new series of Love Island.
YAY!
But despite the telly advert promising us the latest season will be coming to our screens ‘very soon’, bosses are still on the look out for the best single hopefuls the UK has to offer… And they’re not stopping at anything until they find them!
According to The Sun, producers have flown a group of celeb wannabes out to the villa in Majorca for a five-day trial in a bid to sign up the most outrageous contestants for our viewing pleasure.
Last year’s instalment was so popular that ITV2 are reportedly desperate to stir up the same amount of drama and hope that this trial run will allow them to see who’s willing to ‘act-up’ for the cameras.
‘The trial will be seriously debauched,’ a source told the publication.
‘The contestants know misbehaving is the way to get on the show – but that leads to all sorts.’
And after 2016 saw couples such as Alex Bowen and Olivia Buckland as well as Terry Walsh and Emma-Jane Woodhams get very steamy in the villa, the insider added: ‘Last year contestants romped on TV and producers were forced to provide the villa with hundreds of extra condoms.
‘This year’s crop of hopefuls will have a lot to live up to.’
Terry and Emma got very steamy in last year’s show [ITV]
Eeeek.
If the singletons impress bosses, they could be on their way to stardom as last year’s contestant Katie Salmon landed her place on the show after the trial and series one’s Jessica Hayes also made it onto the show through the same process.
A post shared by Katie Salmon (@itskatiesalmon) on
Although the LI line-up is being kept firmly under wraps, one potential Islander has recently been revealed as model and personal trainer, David Lundy.
But with rumours flying around that David DUMPED his girlfriend to appear on the show (via Whatsapp voice note may we add), it looks like this year’s set to be a cracker.
If you’re a HUUUGE Little Mix fan (like us), on Friday afternoon you might have noticed the girls announced a whole load of exciting news.
Yup. After weeks of speculation, Jade Thirwall, Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelsonand Leigh-Anne Pinnockfinally confirmed what many already guessed – that epic anthem ‘Power’ will be the fourth single from smash hit album Glory Days.
And the girls made the announcement on their Instagram page while actually on the video set.
‘We have seen how much you guys absolutely adore this song from the album,’ Pez tells fans.
But if you thought the ladies were done for the day, you’d be wrong as they also announced that the song includes a BIG twist and has been remixed as a collaboration.
And the collaborator? Grime artist, Stormzy!
Stormzy has teamed up with the LM ladies on a brand new track (Photo by OfficialCharts.com/REX/Shutterstock)
In probably the most creative social media post we’ve ever seen, the LM girls gave us a sneak-peek into their group chat as they talked over potential music partners.
Discussing how to ‘freshen up’ the new track, they ponder Missy Elliott, Jason Derulo and Sean Paul before finally settling on Stormzy and then teasing fans with a snippet of the new tune.
And with one final social media post, LM confirmed the new collab will be out next week with ANOTHER video with the caption: ‘Yaaass! You heard RIGHT! Our new single #Power will feature the one and only @Stormzyofficial! Just a week until you can hear it! We are SOOOO excited about this one’.
Lauren Goodger opens up about life as a jailbird’s girlfriend
Lauren has admitted to lip fillers in the past
She’s dating a man behind bars serving 16 years for a string of drugs-related charges and she’d like to get pregnant on his first day release and marry him on his eventual release. It’s fair to say that Lauren Goodger, 30, leads a complicated life!
Add to that the attention her body gets on a daily basis and Lauren’s life is, in her words, ‘a bit mad’. But scratch the surface and is Lauren as robust as she seems? Is ‘hot criminal’ Joey the real deal? Are they really planning to marry when he gets out? And how did she fall in love with someone she’s never been out with?
The criticism since dating Joey Morrison, 31, and the ‘constant’ attacks on her weight must take their toll. Lauren answers all the questions we’ve been wanting answered.
Hi Lauren, how are you?
Sorry if I sound a bit weird… I’ve got a new brace in and it’s making me talk funny. My teeth are straight but I want them to be perfect. I’m not a massive fan of veneers so I’m doing this and then I’ll whiten them! Just want them to look nice.
OK, so let’s talk about Joey – were you not frightened off by his past?
No, because he’s not a horrible guy and I know that. The crimes were drug related and I know that he would never hurt anyone outside of that world.
What do you mean?
You know, like commit crimes against or hurt innocent people. It was drug related and that’s the past. He wants to get his head down and finish his sentence.
Tell us your story – how did things grow?
Well, I knew Joey before but nothing ever happened. I’m friends with his sister and he called one day and I spoke to him. That ended up in a visit and that’s when we started to have feelings for one another. It just felt right.
But how does that happen when you’ve never been alone?
I know! It’s weird and difficult to explain, but there was an attraction and we both felt it.
Didn’t your family warn you off?
No, they don’t get involved in my life like that. I’ve always been one to do what I want to do. No one can tell me what to do or what not to do, I just do it!
So you’ve never had to justify it to them?
No, not at all. All they care about is that I’m happy.
Does it feel different to your exes [Lauren was with Mark for 10 years and in a serious relationship with Jake McLean until last May]?
Yeah, totally different. It has to be different because look at how we met! It’s not a normal relationship because he’s inside, so the dynamic is totally different to anything I’ve experienced before.
How do you have a relationship with him being in prison?
It’s difficult, but we make it work. It’s different and not ideal, but it is what it is and we make the best of it.
How often do you visit Joey?
I go once a week to see him and then there are phone calls.
What do you do when you see him?
We chat and get to know each other. There’s so much talking and it’s nice.
Can you kiss? Do you cuddle?
Yeah, of course! We kiss and cuddle and hold hands.
Aren’t there loads of people around you, though?
There are, but that’s the only time we get together so that’s the way it is. It’s normal. Other couples are the same.
Do people stare at you because you’re Lauren Goodger?
All the time! But I don’t care. I’m there to see Joey and I make the most of the time there.
A post shared by Lauren Goodger (@laurenrosegoodger) on
Joey was due to be released this year…
No, he was never due to be released this year – his official release date is late spring/summer next year. An earlier release could be an option at some point this year, as could day release or an open prison perhaps, but it’s all a process that he has to go through in there.
It’s a long time to wait.
It is, but it’s the only way we’ve known and I’m happy to wait.
Do you love him?
Yes, we love each other.
How can you love someone who’s always been behind bars through the relationship?
Because when it’s right, it’s right, and it feels right.
I would worry about that whether he was inside or not. When you’re in the public eye, that’s something you have to think about. He doesn’t need to be with me and I don’t need to be with him. We just want to be.
You, by your own admission, are fragile. Could this not be the worst thing for you?
I know it seems bad, but we just clicked and it feels right.
Why does it feel so right?
I’ve grown up. I’m 30 and I’ve changed – I want to settle down and Joey makes me feel good.
You talk about Joey wanting and being supportive of you losing weight. Does he love you as you are?
The thing is, Joey’s really into his fitness, so he helps me. He knows I want to lose weight and get fit and he’s supportive of that.
Have your family met him inside?
No, just me that visits him.
How is he different to the person who went inside?
He’s learned lessons and is looking forward to coming out and starting again, I think.
Does your head ever get turned by other guys?
No, I don’t really go out.
Why?
Nobody likes their girlfriend going out without them. I wouldn’t like it if my boyfriend was out without me. When you’re with someone it’s good to go out as a couple. If I do go out, it’s to a friend’s house for dinner.
You might be passing up on the man of your dreams! You could meet Mr Perfect tomorrow…
I’m not looking.
Is Joey your Mr Perfect?
I want him to be.
Are you worried that he’ll want to play the field when he’s out?
It’s always going to be a worry when you’ve been cheated on in the past, in previous relationships. But we want to make it work. I am a very loyal person and I’m happy to wait.
How does he make you feel?
Sexy and loved.
What have you got planned for your first night behind closed doors when he’s finally out?
Well, I’ve been celibate for over a year, so…
So, you’re planning a big night?
It will be amazing to spend some time with him on our own. Maybe cook some dinner together, spend the night together. Do normal things that we haven’t been able to do.
Your friend Jodie says you want to conceive on his first day release – is that true?
I’d like it to happen. I’ve made no secret of the fact that I want a baby and the sooner the better.
Don’t you need time to get to know each other?
No, we’re doing that now. I want to have a family and I hope that it happens soon!
A post shared by Lauren Goodger (@laurenrosegoodger) on
Would you consider getting married in prison?
Never. I want to do the whole thing properly, so that wouldn’t happen.
Among people you know, who’s been most critical of your relationship with Joey?
People have their say about it, but it’s not affected anyone close to me. They know what I’m like and that I’ll do what I want to do. There’s no point in trying to change my mind. They’re supportive as long as I’m happy.
How do you know it’s going to work out between you two?
How does anyone know that their relationship is going to work out? I hope that it does and it feels right, but who knows what’s round the corner?
What if it doesn’t?
Then I’ll move on and so will he.
Could you ever be scared of Joey?
No!
Do you understand why people are concerned for you?
Yes, but they don’t need to be.
There were stories that you’d broken up?
I deleted a few pictures because we wanted to make our relationship a little bit more private. It’s not always easy for him inside, with our relationship published everywhere. That’s the reason stories started to appear. We’re still very much together.
No, he thinks it’s funny. At first he didn’t really get it, but now he understands how these things work and escalate. He’s beginning to understand the world I live in. It’s normal to me now.
Did he actually propose?
No. He gave me an eternity ring as a Christmas present. It’s engraved with ‘Joey loves Lauren’.
You say you ignore the haters’ comments, but it must affect you?
Of course things hurt, but I just don’t care anymore. I look at pap pictures of me and I look about three times bigger than I actually am. I just think: ‘That was a bad angle,’ and I move on. I’ve lost a lot of weight recently and I’m back on it. I’ve been training a lot and eating clean.
You yo-yo a lot?
Yeah, but this time I really want to do it and I know how to. I just have to put my mind to it. But already the results are showing. I know it’s bad to lose weight too quickly, but in the last two weeks, I’ve dropped a lot.
You seem to airbrush your pictures a lot…
I look more like the picture on my Instagram than I do in half those paparazzi sets!
I think some people just do and I’m one of them, but I get constant abuse for it. Seriously, it’s constant. I’d have to be a size zero for them to give me a break.
Does it get you down?
It used to, but now I don’t look at it and I try to switch off from it. I’m in a happy place.
Is that all you want? Just to be happy?
Yes. OK, I like bad boys, I’m never gonna be drawn to a city boy, but that doesn’t mean I can’t be happy. I’m feeling really positive and like I’ve grown up. It’s a nice place to be. I feel amazing. 100 per cent.
Mark Wright seems like a long time ago…
Yes, unlike the reports we don’t have parallel lives! He’s got his life, I’ve got mine – they’re completely different lives and it’s in the past. End of.
Kieran loses it after Katie is snapped 'kissing' another man in Miami...
Drunken tattoos, topless beach photo shoots and mystery men: it’s safe to say Katie Price left her inhibitions on the plane during her recent trip to Miami.
But while Katie, 38, was having the time of her life, husband Kieran Hayler was left at home with the kids, forced to watch his wife’s outrageous antics play out in the papers.
The final straw for Kieran, 30, came when photos emerged seemingly showing Katie kissing another man, causing the former stripper to hit the roof. We’re told he even threatened to walk away if Katie didn’t start treating him with the same respect she expects from him.
‘Kieran is not happy,’ a source tells Now. ‘He was already wound up with the way Katie was behaving in Miami, but the photos of her with the mystery man made his blood boil and he was quick to issue her with an ultimatum.’
His affairs with two of Katie’s former best friends – Jane Pountney and Chrissy Thomas – have been well-documented, but Now understands Kieran has had it with his wife punishing him.
Tellingly, after the damning photos were published, Kieran shared a cryptic message on Instagram: ‘Sometimes you have to take a minute, sit down and clear your head!’
Katie’s spoken in length about the effect Kieran’s infidelities had on her confidence, but after he was treated for sex addiction, she claimed to have forgiven him.
‘I’ve actually said to him: “I’ve forgiven you and I will forget,”’ she insisted in February. ‘The best thing I’ve ever done is stay with him.’
Despite this, Now has learned that behind closed doors it’s a different story. The insider continues: ‘Katie told Kieran it was all innocent and that she’s done nothing wrong. She said to him: “You slept with my best mates – this is just a taste of your own medicine!” But she’s calling his bluff – Katie knows she’s messed up this time and would be devastated if this spelled the end of their marriage.’
Unsurprisingly, the people behind Katie’s new reality TV show My Crazy Life are said to be thrilled with the drama and know it will mean great things for the ratings.
But that’s another thorn in Kieran’s side: Now understands he’s had it with filming for the show and can’t wait for it to be over so he gets his life – and his wife – back.
Our insider adds: ‘Kieran knows Katie loves being the centre of attention and is happy to sit back and watch her lap it up, but hanging out with other men is crossing the line in his eyes.
‘He’s letting her get on with it for the sake of the show, but he’s never wanted to be a reality star. He can’t wait for the cameras to stop rolling so they can get back to some sense of normality.’
This level of drama is TV gold, so something tells us Kieran should get used to having the cameras around…
TV presenting duo Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford on marriage, moodiness and making quality time for one another…
When it comes to love, the world of celebrity is like a treacherous sea. Temptation, betrayal and heartbreak regularly sink relationships and only few couples make it safely to shore. Which surely makes This Morning presenters Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford the Robinson Crusoes of showbiz romance. Together for 21 years – they found love after Eamonn’s split from first wife Gabrielle – the telly duo have one of the industry’s strongest partnerships.
When we meet on a Friday lunchtime at a restaurant near ITV’s studios on London’s Southbank, the couple – who have a 15-year-old son Jack – are on form, batting signature banter to and fro.
‘At seven, are you allowed time out?’ asks Belfast-born Eamonn, 57, alluding to their seven-year wedding anniversary, next month.
‘You’ve not got the seven-year itch,’ says Ruth, also 57, with a dramatic roll of her eyes, adding that they’re both so devoted neither has a celebrity freebie list – stars they’d let the other sleep with should the opportunity arise. But Ruth, nevertheless, has suspicions.
‘J-Lo would be right up there,’ she says. Eamonn shakes his head. ‘I don’t really go for obvious people. I go for slightly odd-looking people,’ he replies, prompting a mock-peeved laugh from Ruth, who’s quick to hit back: ‘What? Are you saying I’m odd-looking?’
United by laughter, love and level-headedness, here daytime telly’s favourite twosome share their true-love secrets…
Eamonn and Ruth interview loads of celebs on the This Morning sofa
How did you two meet?
Ruth: I came to London to stay with my friend Sally Meen, who was GMTV’s weather presenter, and when I arrived she said: ‘We’re going to a party at Mr Motivator’s house, Eamonn’s picking us up.’ I was like: ‘The Eamonn Holmes?’ I thought he was a fantastic broadcaster. I was nervous!
Eamonn: I parked my car around the corner and this beautiful girl walked up, knocked on the door and said: ‘Eamonn.’ I was in love.
You’re known to bicker. Have you ever gone to work after a blazing row?
R: Loads of times.
E: There’ve been weeks where I’ve gone: ‘That’s it from us, see you next Friday,’ then we’ve not spoken a word until the following Friday.
R: No, I’m a big door slammer and I stamp upstairs.
E: That’s her statement. Although I’m downstairs watching television, this is to say: ‘I haven’t forgotten what you said.’ Boom!
R: When we don’t have enough quality time together.
E: We’re time poor.
R: We always know when we need to have a weekend away or a night out together.
Ah, yes. Ruth, you talked on Loose Women recently about your dirty weekends away…
E: I’m fed up of reading about that rubbish. You’re damned if you do and damned if you don’t. If you say: ‘Nothing goes on,’ it’s like: ‘Hmmm’; then if you say: ‘Something does go on,’ you’re perverts. What can I say? We’re very happy.
R: All couples need time. Eamonn’s very good at date nights. I’m quite lazy.
E: Darling, I could never use the word ‘lazy’ about you. Ruth’s a domestic goddess.
Eamonn, do you do any cleaning at home?
E: No, no, no. This woman runs the best bed and breakfast in the world. I’m spoiled with her.
These two are still bang in love
Ruth, what’s Eamonn’s worst habit?
R: Being late.
E: Ruth’s worst habit is being worried about time. I’m not late, I’m time efficient. There’s so much going on in my day, I don’t like wasting time.
Tell us a secret about one another…
E: Ruth is the greatest purveyor of trash TV. She watches every soap.
R: Eamonn’s a news junkie. We very rarely watch TV together. The only things we watch together are Peter Kay’s Car Share and Line Of Duty.
If you could be each other for a day, what would you do?
E: I’d pamper myself and rest. Ruth tries to be the best wife, mother, daughter, sister. She’s not overly good at thinking about herself.
R: I’d send Eamonn to a yoga retreat. He’s always thinking. Even on holiday he says: ‘Let’s sit and discuss our filming schedule.’ Eamonn’s trivia is unbelievable – that’s why his brain never stops. The things he knows…
Such as?
R: All the names of the Waltons. The other day he explained why there are no snakes in Ireland.
What’s the biggest challenge you’ve faced as a couple?
E: My double hip operation [in January 2016]. Ruth’s not good under pressure and it was a lot of pressure.
R: I was terrified. I knew Eamonn was thinking: ‘This could be the last time I see my children.’ The night before he went into hospital I cried.
E: Do you ever go to Nando’s and pull two legs off the chicken? That’s basically what happened to me.
R: When he came out of surgery, he was drugged up to the eyeballs.
E: Ruth’s face was the first I saw. I said: ‘If this is heaven, you’re the angel I want!’
Eamonn, a weight-loss expert on This Morning recently said you were fat. Did that hurt?
E: If the worst shape on the planet was mine, everybody would be alright. It hasn’t done me too badly over all the years. I’m lighter now than I have been in the last 10 years.
Some viewers described your recent interview with the parents of Charlie Gard [the terminally ill baby who a High Court judge ruled should have his life support withdrawn] as insensitive. Was that fair?
E: Your job as a journalist is to ask questions. There’s nothing about that interview I feel I must defend. We’re the most sensitive, caring people you know.
R: I walked that couple down the corridor to the lift, I had a chat with them, we hugged. They seemed perfectly fine. I know I did a sensitive interview.
What’s been your most memorable experience of working together?
E: How Ruth never wanted me to work with her. That was the biggest shock. I thought: ‘This is a lifetime ambition, to work with the woman I love,’ and her words were: ‘I don’t want to work with you!’ You were frightened.
R: Frightened, my arse! It’s not easy working with your partner. I was worried.
What’s been your most embarrassing gaffe on telly?
R: A few years ago, I was running across the studio, tripped on a cable and said the F word. I had to make a formal apology the next day.
E: Fashion faux pas embarrass me. When somebody shows me a clip, I’ll think: ‘What was I thinking with that hair?’ But I don’t dwell.
Who’s been your best selfie partner?
E: Hillary Clinton. She came on This Morning, and I said: ‘Hils, what about a selfie?’ I thought: ‘This is going to be the 44th president of the United States and I’ve got a selfie!’
R: I got one with Will.i.am. We bumped into him in a hotel in London. I grabbed his arm and said: ‘I love you.’ Eamonn tried to diffuse the situation, saying: ‘Sorry, Will, we’re broadcasters ourselves.’ But he said nothing.
Is This Morning’s Wedding back soon? You could give great advice to the people wanting to get married…
E: Yes! It’s back in June.
Have you always felt secure in your relationship?
R: I’ve never been concerned about our relationship, but we’ve had times when we’re really arsey with each other.
E: I’m much more huffy than Ruth. Especially when I don’t get attention.
R: And I’m not a massive attention giver. He always says: ‘You’re like a man!’ I am a bit. You know I love you, I don’t need to say it all the time.
E: I had a dream last night that we were sharing a dorm at university and at the end of the course, Ruth said: ‘We’re finished. Being married to you will only stunt my career.’ I woke up devastated.
R: He was off with me all morning.
E: It simply means I’ve always felt lucky to be with Ruth and I’d be very lost without her.
R: Eamonn is very romantic and says all the lovely things.
E: Then she says: ‘Thank you, darling. That’s lovely. Now go away, I want to watch Corrie!’

Denise Welch
Virgin TV British Academy Television Awards 2017, Arrivals, Royal Festival Hall, London, UK - 14 May 2017
As one of the UK’s leading telly personalities, Denise Welch, 58, has seen her life played out in the public eye. But she completely turned things around in 2013 after shedding 2st – giving up drinking, smoking and binge-eating. Four years on, she’s happier than ever, and that’s why you won’t see her back on a chat show panel anytime soon…
Hi Denise! You’ve been away from Loose Women for a while – would you ever go back?
It’s not something I have any particular desire to do. Loose Women is doing fine without me and I’m perfectly happy with where I am in life.
What do you think of new panellists Stacey Solomon and Katie Price?
I don’t watch it, but I think they’ve done a great campaign for body confidence and they’ve probably brought the fun back into the show.
What’s your top tip for body confidence?
When I post bikini pictures, it’s not about: ‘Wow, look at me!’ It’s saying: ‘Why shouldn’t I?’ I’m proud of the fact I’m five years alcohol-free and four years smoke-free. If I’m a size 12, it’s because I’ve done that.
Would you do more reality TV?
It’s taken me quite a while to remind people that I’m an award-winning actress. I don’t say that with arrogance, I say it because it’s a fact. I enjoyed some of the reality TV – I adored Dancing On Ice – but I regret doing Big Brother.

Is looking like a reality TV clone really worth it?
Social media has seen the quest for physical perfection reach an all-time high, with reality TV stars plugging away at cosmetic procedures and beauty products that claim to offer quick fixes. The side effects can be horrendous, with infections, swelling and bruising just some of the probable outcomes – but these ladies are willing to risk it all for a few likes on Instagram. Now investigates what could happen if you decide to do the same…
Busting lips
The plumped pout trend is still going strong, but less is definitely more. Dr Dan Marsh of The Plastic Surgery Group says that, shockingly, there’s a growing trend of hairdressers administering lip injections, which can have disastrous results. ‘Beware of non-medical-grade fillers. These can lead to the patient needing surgical excision, causing big and permanent scars,’ he explains. ‘Another possible side effect is cysts – not a good look.’

Botched bums
Kim Kardashian and Lateysha Grace are well known for their curvy behinds, and The Valleys star previously opened up about complications following illegal surgery achieve the look. She said: ‘If I’m on the train or driving for more than an hour, I get really sharp pains in my bum, which I never used to get.’ Dr Dan Marsh, of The Plastic Surgery Group, says: ‘Illegal injections of permanent filler or silicone often need to be removed resulting in permanent scars. Also, badly positioned/sized bum implants can be at high risk of infection and malposition. In Kim’s case, it could be over aggressive liposuction to the legs, leaving permanent contour irregularities.’

Hemorrhoids and swollen ankles
Dr Perry imagines most of the celebs wear waist trainers to take one photo before removing them but, for the ones who don’t, there are a whole host of risks associated with long-term use. ‘Increased abdominal pressure could lead to hemorrhoids, varicose and thread veins as well as swollen ankles,’ he says. ‘Because the waist trainers are so tight on the skin there’s also a risk of dermatitis and pigmentation problems.’

Receding gums
Celebrities plugging various brands of DIY teeth whitening kits are ten a penny these days, but Dr Ross Perry, of Cosmedics, says that getting it from anywhere but a practicing dentist could be a bad idea. He explains: ‘The gels bought online are often corrosive and in high strength could cause receding gums, ulcers and long-term tooth sensitivity.’

Wrecked insides
Social media has long been flooded with reality TV stars promoting textox diets, which claim to help users shed the pounds with the special brew of tea. It comes in a whole range of variations, but some of the most popular brands are made with the root and leaves of senna. It’s been claimed by some doctors that short-term use of senna ‘can cause the bowels to stop functioning normally’. Worryingly, long-term use can cause ‘heart function disorders, muscle weakness and liver damage’. It’s just not worth it, guys!
On 29 May the Baywatch movie hits UK cinemas, with a whole new cast filling the big shoes of David Hasselhoff and co. The 90s series about a group of lifeguards became one of the most watched TV shows in the world – so will the newbies be able to impress its legions of loyal fans?
With the promise of a topless Zac Efron for most of the film, we think they’ll have a good chance… Meet the cast taking on the iconic Baywatch roles! (L to R from above!)
Roberta ‘Summer’ Quinn
Nicole Eggert tackled a whole host of gripping storylines as Summer, including bulimia and domestic violence. She also had a relationship with Matt, which ended when she left for university. If Summer and Matt get together in the movie, Alexandra Daddario is a lucky, lucky lady!
Original Matt, portrayed by David Charvet, had romances with Summer and CJ and was falsely accused of sexual harassment. Zac Efron’s Matt is an Olympic swimmer on the wrong side of the law, working on the beach as part of his community service.
Mitch Buchannon
Probably the best-known male character from the TV run of Baywatch, Mitch headed up the lifeguard team. David Hasselhoff originally played him but Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is (literally) the big man in charge this time around. But fans of the Hoff needn’t worry, as it’s been reported he makes a cameo in the film…
Casey Jean ‘CJ’ Parker
The role that made Pamela Anderson a household name. CJ was always the eye candy, but her dedication to the job wasn’t to be underestimated. Kelly Rohrback is the beach totty now, but Pammy is thought to have made a guest appearance…
Stephanie Holden
Stephanie, then played by Alexandra Paul, was in a relationship with Mitch until it was revealed she had a secret husband… Despite being killed off – she was struck by lightning while at sea – Stephanie later appeared in spin-off show Baywatch Nights. Ilfenesh Hadera plays her this time around, and we can’t wait to see her and Mitch getting wild on the sand…
The Radio 1 legend, 43, lets us in on his Big Weekend secrets…
Scott Mills
Hi Scott! Who are you most looking forward to seeing perform?
I’m looking forward to seeing Lorde, actually. And obviously Katy Perry will be incredible – a proper American superstar show, with loads of amazing production.
Which acts do you think will leave you starstruck when you interview them?
It depends who I get to interview really. But I’d say, even though she’s lovely, it would probably be Katy Perry – she just has a presence about her because she’s a superstar and she’s always fun, every time I’ve interviewed her. I love her! She always says something different in every interview as well, which I like. Some people say the same things every time, but she’s real and honest.
Would you ever camp at a festival or are you someone who prefers the comfort of a hotel?!
I’m definitely a hotel type! I’ve never camped at a festival – it’s just not for me. Who wants to see their tent being washed away in a river of mud? I’ve seen it happen at Glastonbury – all your belongings just floating down a stream of mud… Not for me. Hotel please!
Who’s the drunkest celeb you’ve ever encountered at a festival?
A good Radio 1 DJ doesn’t tell – and I’d hope the popstars would do the same for me!
How did you feel when royals William and Kate appeared on your show recently?
Will and Kate were so down to earth. I got told about two weeks before that it was going happen. I couldn’t believe it. There were conversations going on between Radio 1 and the Palace and I kept asking: ‘Well, surely there’s stuff I’m not allowed to ask them?’ and they said: ‘Absolutely not, nothing’s off limits.’
Is Kate as gorgeous and amazing in person? What about Wills?
The thing that struck me about Kate is how regal and gorgeous she is, she really is. And William is just so charming. And he has amazing teeth!

Kate's little sis got hitched to Spencer Matthews' big bro this weekend
Pippa wore a dress by Giles Deacon
It’s been billed as the society event of the year, and Pippa Middleton‘s wedding to James Matthews certainly lived up to expectations!
Six years on from making headlines with that bum at sister Kate Middleton‘s wedding, 33-year-old Pippa got her own fairytale ending at St Mark’s Church in Englefield, Berkshire.
The bride looked beautiful in a custom-made gown by British designer Giles Deacon, featuring a high-neck lace bodice, short sleeves and a full skirt. She completed the look with a delicate veil.
Of course, all eyes were eagerly looking to see if Kate would upstage her sis on her big day, but the Duchess kept things suitably subtle – although no less gorgeous – in a pale pink Alexander McQueen dress and matching hat.
In fact, if anyone stole the show from Pippa it was her niece, Princess Charlotte, who had everyone saying ‘awww’ in her too cute bridesmaid outfit! Meanwhile, her brother Prince George made a very dashing pageboy.
And it seems they were super excited to be involved in Auntie Pippa’s big day, as Kate was seen telling them ‘shhh’ as they entered the church!
Elsewhere, Prince William and Prince Harry cut dashing figures in their suits – as did best man, Made in Chelsea’s Spencer Matthews! We hope he kept his speech clean…
Other famous guests included Princess Beatrice, Donna Air and tennis champ Roger Federer.
Check out all the pictures from Pippa and James’ wedding day below!
When are you going to be sure of someone’s skills? When they’ve done the job for 10 years, perhaps? Then you might leave them alone for half an hour? Someone has proven themselves; time to show some confidence.
Aquarius 21 Jan-19 Feb
After the past few weeks you’re over the whole domestic, family blah-blah. It was fun for a while; now not so much. DIY turns to ‘don’t bother’ and you’re off seeking fun times with fun friends – or more?
Pisces 20 Feb-20 Mar
You’ve had to get tough on the money front, protect what’s yours and hopefully that’s led to a new discovery? When you concentrate on money it literally pays you back. Keep your focus Pisces – more to come.
Aries 21 Mar-20 Apr
There are questions, lots of questions and you know that someone will give you the political answers – lots of promises with no substance. Time to shake up the party. Refuse to accept anything less than a commitment.
Taurus 21 Apr-21 May
You’re making even more of a big money shift if you’re a wise Taurus and whether you’re working hard for it or getting back funds that are owed to you, it’s a successful week. Looking for love successes too?
Gemini 22 May-20 Jun
As you’re making it to the top of the charts, what are you going to do to stay there? Hard work has brought you some rewards – is that it? It can be, but
if you want more don’t rest on your laurels.
Cancer 21 Jun-22 Jul
If you’re tired of being on your own, tired of someone taking their time to say ‘hi’, maybe it’s you who’s getting in your own way? It’s the same old story – until now. Face to face, have a no-escape meeting.
Leo 23 Jul-22 Aug
The foundations have been laid, so now it’s time to build high and build solid. Not your new conservatory – it’s about your professional life, Leo. Something spectacular, done through contacts old and new cheering you on.
Virgo 23 Aug-22 Sep
What isn’t as clear as you’d like is how much hard cash someone’s willing to put up and yes, it is important. They’ve made promises, told you their plans and you’ve been charmed. So now it’s tough talking time.
Libra 23 Sep-22 Oct
There are plenty of people telling you what to do, what to think – all experts, I’m sure. But are their own lives a shining beacon of perfection? Sit with yourself, your own conscience, goals and resources. You have this.
Scorpio 23 Oct-22 Nov
Move along, nothing to see here, everything’s under control. That’s it, you keep up that illusion and some might even believe you. Not your mates, however. Expect cake, but expect to share your deepest secrets too.
Sagittarius 23 Nov-21 Dec
What you’re expecting and what someone delivers are two very different things, so who’s got it wrong? Neither of you, Sagittarius. It’s a simple case of saying one thing and hearing another. Sit down, pay attention.
If it’s your birthday this week like Katie Price…
You’re a talkative soul, but what people don’t know is this is how you sort things out, how you process things. What they see as a promise is a work in progress. This year, more than ever, be clear about what’s real and what’s never going to happen – love in particular. Your professional life is on the up but watch out for hidden agendas from bosses. Trust your gut.

Ferne McCann
Celebrities at the ITV studios, London, UK - 11 May 2017.
After abruptly ending their relationship last month, now former TOWIE star, Ferne McCann has reportedly made contact with her ex Arthur Collins following his charge over an acid attack.
According to insiders, the couple are back in touch after 26-year-old Ferne revealed she’s pregnant with her ex boyfriend’s baby just two days after he was arrested for alleged involvement in the crime.
A source told The Sun: ‘Ferne has obviously ended her relationship with Arthur but she has been in contact with him since his arrest.’
They added: ‘They have spoken on the phone recently. The relationship is over but obviously they feel there are things to discuss.’
However, the mum-to-be made it clear that her romantic relationship with Arthur is over after she made a very emotional return to This Morning in her first public appearance since his arrest to discuss being a single mum.
‘This isn’t how I imagined my first pregnancy to be,’ Ferne told hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield on May 11th.
‘But it’s not about me, it’s not about what’s happened. It’s about this baby. My main concern and priority is the baby.’
Before later adding ‘I’m actually feeling good and positive because being pregnant has given me strength and hope to get through it.’
And despite her fears that the public ‘would judge her’ for recent events, the I’m A Celeb star has been flooded with kind words from fans and recently took to Instagram to thank everyone.
‘I wanted to thank you all for the support and kind messages over the last few weeks,’ she began her heartfelt message, accompanying a photo from the interview.
After months of keeping himself out of the limelight, new dad Liam Payne has been delighting fans recently by answering every single question humanly possible about his life with girlfriend, Cheryl and baby Bear.
Whether he’s trying to promote his debit solo track, Strip That Down, or was just fed up of a life shrouded in mystery – we feel like we’re practically best mates with the 1D hunk lately.
And now the 23-year-old has gone and dropped another HUGE piece of Chiam information on us after revealing what Cheryl’s surname really is…
Yup, after formerly being known as Cheryl Cole and then Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and recently just ‘Cheryl’ – Madonna style – it looks like the Girls Aloud star has now reclaimed her maiden name.
The 33-year-old singer – who welcomed son Bear with the former Directioner in March – has gone back to Tweedy after previously taking the surnames of ex-husbands Ashley Cole and Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini.
Cheryl has gone back to her maiden name following her divorce from Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini [Instagram]
X Factor star, Liam broke the news during a BBC Radio 1Xtra interview where he was asked if he ever gets annoyed when people refer to her by former married names.
‘Her name is officially Cheryl Tweedy now, but to be honest it doesn’t really bother me,’ he explained.
Before adding: ‘We have a kid together, there’s a lot more to our life.’
You tell ’em, Liam!
But following rumours that the celeb pair actually got wed in secret – after Liam accidentally called his other half ‘wife’ – will Chez be taking on another new name any time soon?
Unfortunately, Liam seemed to squash all hopes of a glorious celeb wedding after he revealed they have no plans to get married anytime soon.
He recently told BBC Radio 1 DJ, Nick Grimshaw: ‘I see marriage as more of a religious thing and I’m not really a religious person, so I know it’s not really on the cards for me at the moment.
‘So no, not yet. We have a baby together – you know our love for each other can’t be more serious so it is what it is, I guess.’
Aw. Well if these two do decide to get married, we’ll be waiting patiently for our invite to the big day…
TV star Katie Piper, 33, shares her top-to-toe health secrets with Now...
Katie Piper at 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' film premiere, London 22 March 2016
TV star Katie Piper, is in great shape! Now caught up with her to chat daily diet, workouts and guilty treats!
KATIE’S STATS
HEIGHT: 5ft 3in
WEIGHT: 8-and-a-half stone
DRESS SIZE: 8
What’s your favourite way to keep fit?
I try and work out five days a week. I’ve just bought a treadmill for my kitchen; I do a 20 to 30 minute power walk. And then some ab stuff on my yoga mat. I workout first thing, it sets me up for the day.
Do you ever workout with three-year-old daughter, Belle?
She copies everything I do! If I’m in the kitchen doing squats she starts shouting ‘squat!’ and ‘lunge!’
Can you share any fitness hacks for busy mums?
Take the stairs and always carry all the stuff! I wear trainers too when I go out with Belle so if we’re in the park together, I can run about and be more active.
Cute! Is there a body part you struggle to keep in shape?
It’s harder since I had a caesarian and I’ve had a lot of stomach surgery; once you cut the muscle wall, you never get the hard abs! (laughs). It doesn’t bother me though!
What’s your guilty food pleasure?
(pauses) Everything? I’m prone to takeaway or fish ‘n’ chips but only about twice a month. I workout and eat healthy, so I don’t feel guilty.
Are there any foods you avoid?
I had a problem with scar tissue in my throat (Katie is the survivor of a brutal acid attack), so I find it hard to swallow meat. Caffeine makes me slump; it’s like a fake energy. I also never have toast for breakfast, it makes me tired.
Katie Piper has teamed up with Special K to bust myths and challenge criticism around the breakfast cereal.
Katie’s food diary
Now’s expert sports nutritionist Ollie Frost gives his verdict on her daily diet
BREAKFAST- Smoothie with spinach, kale, half an avocado and one apple. Bowl of Special K topped with nuts and seeds.
Ollie says: ‘Katie’s healthy start will help boost her immune system. The smoothie is full of antioxidants.’
Cals:467
LUNCH- On the road I have packet of crisps with a cheese salad sandwich.
Ollie says: ‘To keep feeling full, Katie should pick up a mixed quinoa salad bowl, which is loaded with dietary fibre and slow-releasing carbs.’
Cals: 480
DINNER – Salmon salad with leafy greens and a corn on the cob.
Ollie says: ‘Salmon contains high levels of omega-3, which helps reduce inflammation in the body. Leafy greens contain iron and vitamin A to support immune function.’
Cals:380
SNACKS –Almonds, carrot sticks and maybe a regular bar of Dairy Milk.
Ollie says: ‘A 50g serving of nuts contains about 300 calories, making them a perfect snack.’
Ollie’s verdict: ‘Any processed foods in Katie’s diet will make her tired and lethargic. Eating foods high in sugar and fat can impact mood, sleep and energy. Katie could adopt an 80/20 rule, with 80 per cent of her food intake from single-ingredient, unprocessed foods, leaving 20 per cent for the chocolate bar.’
Rylan Clark on Big Brother's Bit On The Side, 12 July 2016
It’s been a long few months without the likes of Kim Woodburn and Nicola McLean going IN on each other over nominations, chicken and pretty much everything else in the CBB house.
But have no fear reality TV fans, because the new series of Celebrity Big Brother is on the horizon, and if even a few of the rumoured housemates are true – we’re sure it’s going to be a cracker.
While the reported line-up includes massive celebs such as Caitlyn Jenner, MTV couple Charlotte Crosby and Stephen Bear, as well as the legendary Hulk Hogan – there’s one particular star we are desperate to see on the Channel 5 show.
And that’s TOWIE’s very own long-haired pirate, Pete Wicks.
According to reports CBB bosses are ‘determined’ to bag the popular Essex man – and considering this season of ITVBe reality series could have been re-named The Pete and Megan McKenna show, we don’t blame them!
‘CBB are determined to get a big TOWIE star this year, and Pete is the obvious choice as he’s had some huge storylines,’ an insider told The Sun Online.
‘Pete has already said he needs a break from the show and seeing as this is going to be a big money deal it’s looking like a no-brainer.’
The 28-year-old’s on/off girlfriend Megan saw her reality TV name reach all new heights following her time in the house in January 2015, so the show could do big things for Pete’s career.
The source added: ‘Celebrity Big Brother launched Megan’s career so Pete knows it could take him to the next level and boost his profile, while giving him a much-need break from TOWIE stress.’
Pete was left heartbroken after his on-screen split with Megan [ITVBe]
Following his split from Ex On The Beach star, Megan playing out in front of the camera’s, the star admitted: ‘The show has been tough.
‘It has definitely been a hard series and I need this break; I need to concentrate on myself.
‘It has felt like a long time since we started filming this year; TOWIE can be mentally draining sometimes.’
Although we’re hoping Pete hasn’t said goodbye to Brentwood forever, we really want to see him on this season of CBB – let’s just hope Megan doesn’t make a surprising appearance too…
Remember the singer with the very big voice? We find out what became of her right here
A big voice
Joss Stone burst onto the music scene in 2003 with that powerful, soulful voice – and a cover of The White Stripes’ Fell In Love With A Girl that she’d reworked to be all about boys. Joss signed a record deal with EMI at the tender age of 14 after appearing on Star For A Night and then winning Steps To The Stars – a singing show hosted by H and Claire from Steps (remember that?).
Big things
Joss’s debut album The Soul Sessions was released when she was 16 in 2003. She shot to No 1 and went four times platinum, while her second album Mind Body & Soul also went to the top of the charts a year later and went four times platinum.
After disappearing off to the US, Joss stunned a UK audience when she made a cringeworthy speech at the BRITs in 2009 in what sounded like an American accent. After a backlash from the UK audience, she retorted: ‘At the end of the day, I don’t give a f**k if people have a problem with my accent. I’m not being a cruel person by sounding a different way. And I can’t help it. I’ve been [in America working] since I was, like, 14.’
Mo’ money mo’ problems
After years of success and millions of records sold, Joss was left dissatisfied with the lack of freedom that she was getting at her record label and in 2009 paid ‘a huge sum’ to get herself out of her contract. She revealed: ‘Money is the thing that people hold over you, but to me it was just cotton balls. Don’t let it suffocate you. Don’t let yourself need it that much. I just thought: “I’m free. I’ll go out and play some gigs and earn my living.”’
So what’s she up to now?
Though we’ve heard less from Joss, now 30, of late, she’s been on a huge world tour, which she’s been busy Instagramming, and will continue to sing her heart out this summer in the US, Switzerland and Italy. She also runs her own charity, The Joss Stone Foundation, which supports more than 200 different causes across the world. She’s currently dating music producer SiChai.
The French businessman has revealed how he really feels about his ex
Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini may have publicly snubbed the mention of ex-wife Cheryl‘s name recently, but now it looks like he’s ready to open up on his 18-month marriage to the star.
Yup, after THAT awkward Good Morning Britain interview – where the Frenchman was asked if he had a message for Cheryl at Cannes film festival and ignored the question altogether – JB has revealed how he really feels about his ex.
The 36-year-old, who split with the former Girls Aloud star in 2016, gave a rare insight into his life following the breakdown of their relationship, telling The Mirror: ‘I’ve lost a lot. I don’t have my parents, I don’t have a girlfriend. I’m, alone now.’
Cheryl and Jean-Bernard split in 2015 after an 18-month marriage (Photo by Beretta/Sims/REX/Shutterstock)
During his time in the spotlight, JB also revealed he experienced a lot of negative attention, adding: ‘I married someone who was famous, I was thrust into this mad world – I didn’t like it.
‘There was really awful things said about me, about my family, but I feel like I survived it. And I’m here surviving, doing my thing.’
Although it’s hard to imagine Chez with anyone else other than 1D boyfriend, Liam Payne, Jean-Bernard became the 33-year-old’s second husband following the pair’s whirlwind romance back in 2014.
After meeting at a party, the former couple went on to marry after just 12 weeks of dating but split in 2015 – just 18 months after the wedding.
Speaking about his former life with Cheryl, businessman Jean-Bernard said: ‘It’s been two years – I feel like a different person. That was the old me.’
According to boyfriend Liam, the singer – who gave birth to their 2-month-old son Bear in March – has legally returned to her maiden name and plans to stay that way for the near future.
Although there’s no plans of marriage number three for Chez, it’s good to see that Jean and Cheryl have both moved on from their divorce.
