Choker dress frenzy has come to town! Chokers have been a huge style update since they made a comeback around a year ago. Made famous in the 90’s, we definitely remember them the first time around and loved them even then. Remember the plastic patterned ones you just pulled over your head? Amazing! Or the cute cord ones generally adorned with a little sun or moon? Or dare we say it dolphin pendant – those were the days.
The 90’s really were great for new trends: tees under strappy dresses, crop tops and hi-tops, we love them all and they’ve all made a serious comeback in the last few years. Great news if you’ve been hoarding your old clothes in your parents attic #winning. But sometimes a hybrid is born and that can be a wonderful thing OR it can be a downright disaster. Enter… THE CHOKER DRESS.
Charlotte Crosby is obviously a fan of this new style dress, so much so she’s even got a few of them in her range for clothing brand In The Style. Now this style of dress has the office divided, some of us hate it (that’s me), whilst others love and own similar styles. I just don’t get it, it looks weird, maybe it’s because I haven’t bought into the choker trend this time around…
The ex-reality TV lot seem to adore them, they’ve all pretty much been spotted in a choker dress at some point. Sam Faiers sure loves hers, and likes to style it out with knee-high black boots.

But now it looks like the reality stars could be about to turn all responsible as it’s been revealed that Heidi is planning on having a child THIS year.
Does that mean a CBB baby could be on the cards?
Well, when Heidi chatted to the website, Faithwire last year, she seemed pretty keen on becoming a mum in 2017, admitting: ‘I am writing a coffee table wife type of book. It’s more like a fun project, something I enjoy doing, and then I’m getting ready to be a mom hopefully next year …’
The 30-year-old then added: ‘You know, I had to pray to get my husband to even agree to have a kid, and so this whole journey over the last few years … I have had to do.’
But The Hills star might have her work cut out as Spencer has previously revealed he’s not all that keen on having kids yet and once described his wife as ‘baby nutso crazy’ during an episode of We TV’s, Marriage Boot Camp.

Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag are already causing friction in the Celebrity Big Brother House 2017.
Meanwhile, the celeb couple have recently clashed with model, Calum Best in the house after they turned on his mum, Angie Best describing her as the ‘biggest threat’.
When Big Brother asked the All Star housemates to choose some to ‘edit out’ on Thursday’s episode, Spencer wrote down Angie’s name which didn’t go down too well with Calum – and the rest of the celebs for that matter.
Speaking to the house, Spencer boldly declared: ‘We’re gonna go with your mum, it’s not me, we’re a team.’
But Calum wasn’t having any of it and swiftly said ‘no we’re not’ before going on to tell Big Bro that the team had chosen 90’s DJ, Brandon Block instead.
Just weeks after a horrific ordeal in October, during which she was tied up and robbed at gun point in a Paris hotel, her husband Kanye West was sectioned following a suspected psychotic breakdown.
Kim, 36, took herself off of social media after the attack, but returned to celebrate the New Year this week with some cute snaps of her family – and also revealed she’s suffering from a facial condition.
She tweeted: ‘Wait why am I now getting psoriasis on my face?’
Reality TV star Kim was immediately inundated with concerned messages from her loyal fans – who call themselves the Dash Dolls – who offered advice and reminded her that she’s ‘beautiful no matter what’.
The mother-of-two has never hidden her condition, and has confessed on more than one occasion that she thinks the psoriasis is her biggest flaw.
Last year Kim explained: ‘I don’t even really try to cover it that much any more. Sometimes I just feel like it’s my big flaw and everyone knows about it, so why cover it?’
Kim added: ‘Everyone with psoriasis has different symptoms; sometimes the rashes are itchy, sometimes they’re flaky. Mine flares up from time to time for different reasons. I’m always hoping for a cure, of course, but in the meantime, I’m learning to just accept it part of who I am.’
Taking to Twitter, some fans tweeted their joy at Kim’s social media return – with one writing: ‘She’s back!!! She’s really back!!!’
Another said: ‘I really cried when I seen that @KimKardashian put a post on Instagram. Like I missed her.’
Clearly touched, Kim responded: ‘Awww I missed you guys!’

Olivia Buckland has sparked a mystery over her engagement to Alex Bowen after a new Instagram post showed her NOT wearing her ring.
It all started when the Love Island star – who said yes when Alex popped the question during their New Year trip to New York – posted a clip of them reuniting with their dog Reggie this week following their holiday and it’s pretty cute.

But many of the comments focused on the fact that the blonde star’s rock had gone AWOL.
‘Where’s the ring???’ one follower asked, whilst another wrote: ‘How come when I watched this all I thought was where’s her engagement ring’
Olivia went on to clarify that there’s nothing to worry about though.
‘P.S my engagement ring is being resized so it’s not on me ATM – feel bare already without it!!’ she added in her caption. Phew!
Some of her fanbase have defended Liv following the speculation, with one admirer commenting: ‘I don’t think you need to explain yourself about why you’re not wearing your ring!’
It comes just days after Olivia showed off her rock following her engagement to Alex, 25.
‘I have no words for how happy I am,’ the TV star posted with a selfie of the newly-engaged pair. ‘My fiancé my everything @ab_bowen this was magical. So magical.’

Awww. Olivia continued to wear her new bling throughout their US holiday but it looks like she’ll have to cope without it for the time being!
That hasn’t stopped the couple – who fell for each other in front of our eyes on Love Island last summer – from possibly making plans for their nuptials though.
Olivia hinted on Snapchat earlier this week that they might have set a wedding date, having posted a selfie of her modelling her ring with the caption: ‘We just organised a date’

And luckily for viewers, the shocking events are rarely limited to what is shown on TV, and often spills out into real life – and this first week of 2017 has proved that with a number of fallout and revelations within the cast.
Not only has Aaron Chalmersslammed ex-girlfriend Marnie Simpson online, Marty McKenna joined in by claiming that the women of the cast are ‘manipulative bullies’, with Marnie in particular being ‘pure evil’.
However, the quick-tempered gal hasn’t taken the comments lightly, and now claims that Marty is in love with Aaron!
Marty, who joined the MTV show in 2016, fired off about relationships in the house on Thursday (5th January), claiming that they ‘all hate each other’. However, he seemed to have especially sour feelings towards Marnie, 24.
Speaking to The Sun Online, he revealed: ‘She’s pure evil and there’s no need to even say anything about them.
‘She’s a fake, fake, fake person and I hate her, me.’
He also made stark claims that she tried to ‘neck on’ with Aaron during recent filming, despite her being in a relationship with Lewis Bloor at the time.
Unsurprisingly, this claim didn’t go down well – and Marnie responded by claiming that Marty is ‘lonely and unhappy’, as well as her belief that he is in love with Aaron!
‘Marty seems to be a lonely and unhappy person who I believe is weirdly in love with Aaron,’ her statement begins.
‘He always seemed jealous of me because I was Aaron’s girlfriend or something. I have always had this strange feeling he hated me from the start and his relationship with Aaron I find extremely odd!
‘We have never gotten on because of it, and any chance he gets to talk about me in any way, he takes it.’
However, Marnie ended her statement to the Daily Mail by expressing her sympathy for his ‘issues’: ‘I feel deeply sorry for him. He has issues he really needs to sort out.’
Well, well, well. We wonder what’ll be the next stage in this fierce cast feud…

Celebrity Big Brother is facing a fix scandal just days into the 2017 series following emotional scenes between two housemates.
Viewers hit out over footage aired on Thursday night’s episode, which showed Stacy Francis and Ray J discussing the drama that unfolded between them following the death of Whitney Houston.
The pair had an emotive discussion about their feelings and suggested that they’d never talked about it before, despite it all unfolding in 2012.
This had many fans sceptical and Twitter was flooded with accusations that the conversation wasn’t all that it seemed…
One viewer wrote: ’This whole Ray J and Stacy discussing Whitney thing – are we seriously supposed to believe that they haven’t met up in the last five years to discuss it?
‘@channel5_tv @bbuk can we stop with the scripted and extremely tasteless bulls***? It ain’t cute #CBB’
Another watcher Tweeted: ‘There is no point to #CBB old and new. They know the script. What it does show is the desperation and the me me me “my story” 4 air time.’
Yikes. A Big Brother spokesperson has hit back at the claims though and insists that it’s all genuine.
‘Big Brother is not scripted,’ a rep tells OK!. So that’s that then.
Something tells us this won’t be the last of the Stacy and Ray J saga though.
It’s all based on the fact that Stacy was rumoured to have come to blows with Whitney just two days before her death, and has said that Ray – who Whitney was dating at the time – didn’t defend her against media criticism despite being a family friend.
In their upfront chat on Thursday’s show Stacy, 47, admitted she was ‘shook’ at seeing Ray, 35, in the house and had some ‘questions’ she wanted to ask him.
Ray then cryptically said that everything that happened was his fault, though it wasn’t clear if he was referring to Whitney’s death or the backlash Stacy received.
Blimey, just a few days in and we’re already facing major drama…

Loose Women presenters and Celebrity Big Brother stars, Coleen Nolan and Denise Welch may seem like they have a lot in common – but that hasn’t stopped Denise hitting out at her former pal.
The pair used to sit beside each other on the daytime telly show but now Denise has revealed her true feelings, branding Coleen ‘passive aggressive’, and insisting she DEFINITELY has a strategy.
Ouch.
Chatting to Rylan Clark-Neal on CBB’s sister show – Bit On The Side – Denise was asked about claims Coleen is ‘cutthroat’ and playing games.
Which was followed by an eerie silence and an unconvincing ‘Erm’.
After what felt like an hour, Denise finally revealed what she really thought, and the former presenter did NOT hold back, telling the audience: ‘I think she has got a strategy.
‘I think Coleen is very good at the passive aggressive thing of going in the garden and hearing stuff and coming back in and going, “Oh my God, you’d just die if you heard what they’re saying about you.”‘
Denise then put her acting experience into practice when she turned to fellow panellist, Lisa Appleton and mimicked The Nolan’s sister, adding: ‘I don’t know why people say you don’t suit a red bra because I think you look lovely in that.’

Not stopping there, Denise THEN went on to question whether the CBB star should even be in house considering she openly spoken out about going through a rough patch in her marriage to guitarist, Ray Fensome.
Denise said: ‘We’ve heard in the papers for weeks before about the marital thing.
‘I’m not moralising anything, I’ve been very open about my life, but is this a time to go in there? I don’t know.’
When fellow panellist, Jessica Cunningham suggested that Coleen is ‘everyone’s mum and just a friendly person’, Denise wasn’t having any of it and quipped back: ‘I’m not going for the everybody’s mum, no game plan.’
‘And that’s not being bitchy, that’s just talking about her as a housemate, that’s what I think.’
Woah!
Denise and Coleen fell out back in 2013 when Coleen made remarks about celebrities who’ve taken drugs in the past now suffering with mental health problems.
In a magazine column, Coleen wrote: ‘Is it a coincidence Stephen Fry, Kerry Katona and Denise Welch have all admitted to cocaine use and are now bipolar, while others suffered depression and breakdowns?’
Looks like these two aren’t burying the hatchet any time soon.
Looking back over the year; we had rainbow hair, blue eyeliner was seen back on the catwalks and pretty pastel eyes, which was a fave of the celebs on the red carpet. There was of course, the slightly weirder trends and especially ones for the nails like 100 layers and, err, furry nails?! Not forgetting the penis eyeliner!

Braided top knot – if you’re one of those mega babes that can braid your hair in a flash then we salute you! We wish we could too seeing as braids are bigger than ever this year. Add a variation to your normal topknot and pop in a braid too.
Ash Balayage – We’re obsessed with the balayage technique and could watch videos on Instagram for hours of hair transformations. For 2017, it’s all about the ash tones in your hair and we love it!
Charcoal masks – Yes. Forget ‘FOMO’, we’re all about the ‘JOMO’ this year and staying in really is the new going out! We’re all about staying in, getting a pizza and putting on a facemask with your girls watching a movie! Who’s with us!?
Cut crease eyeshadow – It’s basically contouring for the eyes and an eye-defining technique that pros have been doing for years. It’s also huge with beauty bloggers and vloggers.
Microblading – it’s a semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo that fills in the sparse areas with incredible natural results. It’s not a cheap procedure BUT the results are amazing!
Lip and cheek stains – Yes, remember that cult multi-purpose stain from Benefit? Well get ready because lip and cheek stains are making a come back and we’re actually quite excited!
Head Scarves – perfect for the lazy hair girl that wants to hide that she hasn’t washed it for a few days!
Jojoba oil – This essential oil has been around for years but now, it’s better than ever! Move over olive oil, we’ll be applying this in our hair and skin from now on!
The Voice UK is back with a new channel, new contestants and some awesome new celebrity coaches in the form of Jennifer Hudson, Gavin Rossdale and retuning Tom Jones.
But the show’s stalwart Will.i.am has sparked fears that J-Hud, 35, is ALREADY set to leave the show when it’s barely even started! *sob*
According to Will, Jennifer is likely to disappear from her spinning red chair after just one season on the UK version of the programme – because her native America will be desperate to get her back.
‘I know what will happen,’ says Black Eyed Peas star Will, 41. ‘When I came over onto British TV Americans were like, “You can keep him”, but when Brits are like, “We love J-Hud,” Americans will be like, “No, we’re taking her back”.
‘She’s big already but she’s going to have her own show. All these folks are going to be trying to get her. Americans are missing that right now. There’s no Oprah, there is none of that.’
Say it ain’t so, Jen! Will adds: ‘All this time I knew Jennifer, I never KNEW Jennifer. We’re all going to fall in love with her personality at the same time.’
Thankfully it sounds like J-Hud – who came to fame as a hopeful on American Idol back in 2004 – is keen to stick around for longer than one season.
In fact she’s very committed and is keen to nurture her contestants in the long-run.
‘First of all the talent here is amazing and I’m such a huge fan of so many artists that have come from here,’ she tells Express.co.uk. ‘Also, The Voice. To come from a show pretty much the same as The Voice and being able to be in a position to do that, being a constant and now here. Sure I’ll do it!
‘Using that position to nurture other talent. Even on Idol, keeping in touch with the other contestants, I like to reach out to them and give them encouragement in whatever they may need.
‘There’s not many people in the industry who are willing to give those conversations and have that kind of input, so what a better place to be.’
We’re glad to hear that, Ms Hudson! The news will undoubtedly come as a relief to many fans of The Voice UK too given that there have been a lot of changes in the coaching panel in recent years.
Kylie Minogue, Rita Ora, Boy George and Paloma Faith all left after doing one series, whilst Tom was axed for the last season on the BBC before making a sensational comeback this year.

The reality star has flown into a HUGE rage at Heidi after accusing her and husband Spencer – otherwise known as Speidi – of hiding away all of the bottles of water in the house.
In a clip from Friday night’s episode a fuming Austin, 28, looks under Heidi and Spencer’s duvet to see if they’ve put the drinks there and shouts: ‘You and your husband just stole everybody’s [water]! This is so f***ed up!’
Heidi then shouts for Big Brother to ‘get him out of my face’ and James Jordan attempts to calm Austin down as he continues to yell.
The ex-boyfriend of fashion designer Marc Jacobs is ordered to go to the Diary Room but can’t resist another dig at Speidi before leaving the bedroom.
‘You’re actually psychotic!’ he shouts at Heidi, 30, before storming out of the area. ‘You’re not gonna give people water?’
Spencer watches on as Austin leaves but it doesn’t end there…
The angry star then takes a bucket from the store room and vows: ‘If they want some water we’ll give them some water’
Eek! Does this mean that Speidi are about to get a serious drenching? We’ll have to wait and see but it sure doesn’t look good…
Spencer, 33, later confronts Austin about the row and tells him it was his doing rather than Heidi’s.
‘Heidi didn’t take any of the water, if you have any issues with water come to me,’ he explains.
When Austin says that he went to their bed to get it because they stole it all, Spencer fires back: ‘I didn’t know it said Austin’s water, I wouldn’t want to take Austin’s water!’
Yikes, looks like Speidi aren’t going to be best buds with Austin (or anyone, for that matter).

Jonathan Cheban has contacted police after receiving ‘serious threats’ during his stay in London.
The reality star – who is in the UK to film a mystery TV show – is said to have upped his security over the incident, which comes just months after his BFF Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint in her Paris hotel room.
Jonathan, 42, was seen at Charing Cross Police Station on Friday and is clearly very concerned.
‘After Kim’s Paris ordeal, any threats Jonathan takes security very seriously,’ a source says.
The US star has apparently moved out of the hotel he was staying in and is now staying at a private residence in the city in light of the scare.
‘]The] threats towards Jonathan have been of a serious nature,’ the insider tells MailOnline. ‘And have caused him to take the next steps to ensuring he is safe in the UK during the filming of the unnamed television program.’
It comes amid reports that Jonathan has ended up in a feud with members of Celebrity Big Brother contestant Ray J’s management team after appearing to slate him on Twitter.

This sparked speculation that he was referring to Ray J, the ex-boyfriend of Kim who infamously starred in THAT sex tape with her.
Jonathan – who appeared on CBB a year ago but elected to leave just a few days into the series – had even been at the centre of rumours that he could come face to face with Ray J by entering the house again as one of the All Stars.
But Kim’s bestie has denied that this is happening and says the programme he’s working on most definitely isn’t Big Brother.
‘As much as I love watching #CBB you couldn’t pay me to ever go back in the CBB house!’ he Tweeted on Thursday. ‘I’m a HUGE fan of the show from a distance.

Almost identical, with just two years between them, but they couldn’t be more different…
Embracing each other in front of the camera on a family outing to Lapland UK in Berkshire, they’re the image of sisterly love. The blonde appears older and wiser, not at all intimidated by her wrinkle-free, model-skinny and vibrantly youthful brunette sibling sharing the frame. Look closer, though, and all is not as it seems. The brunette is Victoria Beckham, posing with Louise Adams, her sister who’s two years younger than her.
Then again, if you’d lived Louise’s life nobody would judge you for paling in comparison to the pampered, ridiculously rich Victoria.

Never mind her success in the 90s with the Spice Girls; 42-year-old Victoria established a second career and got married to one of the best-looking men on the planet while succeeding at all she does.
Louise, 40, hasn’t been so fortunate. While Victoria divides her time between palatial homes in California, London and the French Riviera, her little sister still lives with her parents and four children just off the M25.
WANNABE
To describe Victoria and Louise as close would be an understatement. The entire Adams clan – including parents Tony, 68, and Jackie, 67, along with 35-year-old Christian, the girls’ quieter younger brother – are a tight-knit team. But while Victoria has always looked out for her sister, life hasn’t dealt her the easiest cards.
‘Louise looks up to Victoria massively,’ says a family friend. ‘They both have very similar interests and Louise thinks her older sister is an incredible role model.
‘She’s seen Victoria succeeding and that’s filled her with confidence. Louise is a natural in the showbiz world and would turn up at parties all over the world, holding her own.
‘The big difference in how their lives have panned out isn’t that Victoria became Posh Spice. It’s because they chose different men. And that’s put them in very different positions today.’
While Victoria and David are about to celebrate 20 years together, Louise has two broken marriages behind her. A single mum to daughter Liberty, now 18, Louise married Hayden Isted, the boss of a mobile phone company, in 2002.
They had two children together – Tallulah-May, now 14, and Finlay, 11 – before splitting five years later.
Then in 2009 she married Darren Flood, with whom she had a daughter, Quincy, now six. But in 2014 that marriage ended too, leaving Louise ‘in bits’.
2 BECOME 1
‘Looking at Victoria, Louise wonders what might have been for her if only she’d been able to make it work with Hayden,’ adds the friend. ‘When you’re young and living in a world of beautiful people with amazing lifestyles, it would be very easy to become dissatisfied with your own lot.

‘Because she’s so close to Victoria and spending so much time with her, Louise was living the life of someone who’s a massive star. But in reality, she was just an ordinary girl from the Home Counties. It can take years to get your head around something like that… if you ever can.’
Small wonder, then, that Louise’s personal relationships were strained. The Beckham name may open plenty of doors, but it also attracts unwelcome attention. Louise’s second husband Darren had to cope with allegations that the businesses he was involved with tried to cash in on the Beckham name. The publicity was arguably very damaging.
Now Louise finds herself a single mother once more, living with her parents, just as she did when she was younger.
WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?
‘If there’s one thing that Louise has in common with her big sister, above all else, it’s her incredibly focused, driven work ethic,’ says the friend.
‘She’s always worked, from when she was a child making a few quid from a weekend job. When David and Victoria invited her to stay, Louise insisted on being a nanny to Victoria’s children for the duration.
‘So when she needed a boost and a new direction, she followed Victoria into the fashion business.’
That, however, is where the similarity ends. While Victoria’s flagship Mayfair store is a cavernous, minimalist masterpiece that’s more like an art gallery than a clothing shop, Louise has a much smaller 40sq ft boutique in Hoddeston, rural Hertfordshire.
And while Victoria showcases her designer gowns on red carpets around the world, Louise is much more at home with her comparatively ordinary life, just like the rest of us..
Ask those in the know, however, and they’ll tell you this is exactly how she wants it.
‘She’s learned a lot from her experiences and right now she just wants a quiet life,’ one long-time school friend tells Now. ‘She’s seen first-hand that money doesn’t always buy you happiness.’
NEVER GIVE UP ON THE GOOD TIMES
While Louise is downsizing her life, looking for peace and contentment rather than excitement and publicity, her children continue to get the best of both worlds.
Libby, who’s closest in age to 17-year-old Brooklyn, spends a lot of time with her cousins. In 2016 alone she travelled to New York, LA and the Coachella Festival with the Beckhams. Brooklyn regularly appears on Libby’s Instagram feed, along with a gang of beautiful (and wealthy) children of the international elite.

But while Victoria has grand plans for all her children, Louise is concerned about protecting her babies from the spotlight.
‘She thinks they have the best of both worlds,’ adds the school pal. ‘They get to experience all these amazing things but they also have friends who are completely normal.
‘Louise reckons that true happiness comes when you’re as comfortable talking to your local postman as a Hollywood star. So she won’t be encouraging her kids to go for a career in showbusiness.’
SAY YOU’LL BE THERE
So as Victoria throws herself into 2017, working around the clock for yet another round of stressful international fashion shows, another year of jetlag and another year of endless headlines, her younger sister will be beavering away in England.
She’ll be found hard at work in her boutique, sorting through the orders and drumming up business from her loyal local clientele.

Cheryl and Liam have been keeping fans guessing about her mystery bump this week, with fans going into a frenzy over the possibility the pair have already become parents.
‘Is Cheryl just hoping she’ll give birth and nobody will notice?’ questioned one, while another asked: ‘Has Cheryl already had the baby?!’ One very confident fan tweeted: ‘Cheryl has had a baby girl… congrats @cherylofficial.’
But fans are now speculating about the couple taking another big step in their relationship…recording a song together. The rumour started when The Sun reported that the pair were working on music together.
A source said: ‘Liam has written a song for Cheryl before they became a couple, don’t be surprised if they also team up.’ They added: ‘Cheryl flew to the US with Liam last week to start work on her new album in Will’s studio.’
Fans have been discussing the possible collaboration online. One tweeted: ‘I have a feeling a Cheryl and Liam duet is coming.’ Another added: ‘Can Cheryl and Liam Duet please.’
After speculation that Cheryl and Liam had already become parents this week, fans also questioned whether the pair were engaged. Some of their loyal supporters were convinced the dad-to-be got down on one knee over the festive period! ‘Am I the only one who has a feeling Cheryl and Liam might be engaged?’ one excited fan wrote on Christmas Day.

Gary Barlow just gets better with age...
He may have quit his job as a judge on The X Factor three years ago, but now Gary Barlow is making a big return to TV with his very own Saturday night BBC1 entertainment series Let It Shine. And if a sneaky glimpse behind the scenes on the glitzy set on the new show is anything to go by, it looks certain to give The Voice, which has jumped ship to ITV, a run for its money.
Joined by Dannii Minogue, Martin Kemp and various guest stars on the panel, Gary, 45, is launching a national search for five singers to form a band that will tour the UK performing Take That tracks to coincide with the group’s 25th anniversary. And with TV favourites Graham Norton, 53, and Mel Giedroyc, 48, stepping in as hosts, we can expect plenty of laughter.
Gary (along with Graham and Mel) took some time out from filming in Manchester to tell us why he’s so excited about the series, why he isn’t after a lookalike of himself and how he’s handling the pressure of going against The Voice…
Why did you decide to launch this new show?
Gary: I had a conversation with a couple of the heads at the BBC about it all. My reaction was, if I were to do it there would have to be something that wasn’t a promise but a real tangible thing, where you got to the end of it and there was a massive opportunity. With this show, they’re actually auditioning for a job. They’ll have a 12-month theatre tour, eight shows a week and they’ll play to over 100,000 people. It’s so exciting.
Tell us more about the show…
Gary: So we’re looking for a five-piece group. They’ll be called The Band and they’ll then tour the country. It’s solo people auditioning and we’ll then put them together. They’ll then go against each other to find the winner. We want that same energy we had when we started out as Take That in 1991.
Take That back in the day
So will it be just like those old talent shows that Andrew Lloyd Webber used to do?
Graham: No. We’re looking for five that will work together.
Gary: We haven’t had any bands come to us ready-made. Everyone’s a solo artist. For us, it’ll be interesting to put them into bands of five and that’s going to be really hard. Some bands will have definite lead singers; some bands will have more supporters.
Can you swap people around?
Gary: Early on we can. But once we go live, that’ll be it. You’re all huge personalities in Take That.
Is personality important on this show?
Gary: I think if you’re looking to put people on a stage in a musical environment, personality is massive. The light has to go on and people have to be excited and entertained.
Graham: It’s not just about vocal excellence.
Mel: They have to be on the road for 12 months, living and breathing everything. They have to have stamina as well.Gary: This is an amazing opportunity. I want everyone, even the people who don’t get through, to go away thinking how they can change something. I want them to learn.
Will Mark Owen and Howard Donald have any involvement?
Gary: Yes, they’re there. They’re on the floor.
Graham: They’re backstage stealing my coffee!
What’s your favourite Take That song?
Mel: Relight My Fire.
Graham: Me? Back For Good.
Gary: Rule The World.

You’ve got Martin Kemp and Dannii Minogue on board as judges too. Tell us why you chose them.
Gary: For me, having the acting side with Martin was a really big thing – we needed that. I don’t have that. Danni’s done it all. We’ve met so many times on The X Factor.
And how does it feel to have Graham and Mel on board?
Gary: These guys are with us, which shows the commitment of the channel. It’s a big show for us. It feels like a fresh show and has a real end game.
Graham and Mel, how are you enjoying it so far?
Mel: We’re already gossiping.
Graham: We’re like viewers. Everyone’s got an opinion. When the music starts, you don’t know where it’s going to go and you don’t know which way it’ll go.
Have you cried?
Mel: Yep, I’ve welled up twice and brimmed three times. It’s pretty nerve-wracking for lots of them, so emotions run high.
Graham: I think this is an amazing experience for the boys. These are people who want to be in the industry. Normally if you go to an audition, there’s no feedback at all. In this, you get an experience.
Gary: There’s a serious side to the whole audition too. We feel for everyone, but even when you’re known and you go on TV, you’re on an audition. People are making opinions. This is the world. They need to learn it doesn’t stop when they end their song – it continues.
Are you secretly looking for a second Gary Barlow?
Gary: No. I see some of the kids and it reminds me of bouncing around. I think: ‘God, that was us in 1990 trying to get noticed.’ A lot of people we’re seeing have tried everything. They’re frustrated. They’re looking for direction. Part of the whole making of this show is making sure they go away knowing what they need to do next.
Do they need to be novices?
Gary: We’re open to everybody. We’ve seen some people who’ve been in shows before, to one guy who’d never lifted a mic.
Will there be a sing-off?
Gary: Well, we’ve got to get rid of them somehow, so yes!
How do you feel about the show being compared to The X Factor and competing with The Voice for viewers?
Gary: We’re on Saturday night. Everyone is competing for those slots. I’m trying not to think about it!
And finally – have the crowds gone crazy because Gary is involved?
Mel: I’ve had to take myself off and calm myself down. I find it quite moving when I see Gary, Howard and Mark. I’m sure I’m menopausal.
Graham: The audience are quite a crowd.
Gary: We did the first auditions in Manchester and that’s where it started. The audiences are particularly good.
Mel: They’ve gone bananas.
Graham: It doesn’t look like other shows. I really, really like that set.
Mel: Wait until you see the common room where I’m based. That’s where it’s all happening…

But will banged up Joey Morrison even be released in time?
Lauren Goodger told anyone who’d listen that 2017 was going to be her year – a ‘Good-ger’ she joked as she gushed about finally fulfilling her dream of becoming a mum. ‘I’ll have one [a baby] next year,’ she insisted. ‘I want one now.’
It was all set for a fairytale ending, as her jailbird boyfriend Joey Morrison – who she was first linked to last September – was said to be scheduled for release in February. Sources reveal to Now that Lauren was telling pals the pair were ready to, ahem, ‘get to work’ as soon as he was out to ensure a baby in time for Christmas and were planning to announce their engagement to friends and family at a lavish Valentine’s Day party. Nothing could possibly stand in Lauren’s way… or could it?
Late last month, it was reported that Joey, 30, had been moved from Standford Hill prison to a tougher facility in Suffolk after reportedly being caught using a smuggled mobile phone. It was claimed he’d lost his visitor privileges, including outdoor visits with Lauren, and a February release date was now out of the question.
Not surprisingly, pals say news of these developments has come as a huge blow for Lauren, who was even reported to have had Joey’s name tattooed on her wrist to cement her commitment.
A source reveals: ‘Lauren was so excited for Joey’s release. The pair discussed getting engaged and wanted to announce it to their closest friends and family at a party on Valentine’s Day. Lauren wanted a ‘super-glam’ theme with lots of glitter and bling. She picked out her own ring and was planning a showstopper of a designer dress to wear.’
The source adds: ‘Lauren’s been trying to stay positive since news that Joey’s release date may be delayed. She’s saying: “You never know what’s around the corner.” But it’s obviously come as a let-down. If he’s still inside in March, that ruins any chance of a baby by Christmas.’

Lauren, 30, has suffered a string of heartaches in her quest for a happy-ever-after. She endured a rollercoaster 10-year romance and engagement with Mark Wright, 29, which was blighted by accusations he’d been unfaithful. And after splitting from on-off boyfriend of three years Jake McLean, 28, she admitted they’d had a toxic relationship.
Lauren was first linked to Joey when eyewitnesses spotted her visiting him in prison last autumn. Joey was sentenced to 18 years in prison in 2010 after being found guilty of possession of a firearm, kidnap, blackmail, actual bodily harm and aggravated burglary.

Scarlett, you look amazing. How have you done it?
I’ve been doing interval training from my DVD at least four times a week. It’s an hour long and each exercise is only 30 seconds, which is good because I get bored really easily. When I started, I genuinely couldn’t do the full hour. The DVD is great because you’re doing it in the comfort of your home – you can do it in your PJs if you want!
You must be exhausted afterwards…
The only way I can describe it actually, and this sounds contradictory, it’s as if you’ve had a really good dessert and you feel so happy.
Your boyfriend Luke Crodden says you’re like an iPhone…
[Laughs] He says I’m the same on the inside, but just little bits keep changing. I don’t know whether to be offended or not!
Have you been buying new lingerie to show off your figure?
I don’t have to go online and buy specialist bras, which is amazing. Before, I wore maternity bras with big straps. Now I’ve got bras with little straps.
You must feel super-sexy…
I would never describe myself as sexy. I’m just happier and Luke can see I’m a lot more confident. I get excited about things I never used to get excited about – like I couldn’t fit into anything in Topshop before. I just stuck to my buffet tops.
Sorry, what?
They’re tops that you could wear to a buffet, so you could be a size 6 under there or a size 16 and no one would know. But now, when I go in Topshop I can pick up the first thing on the rail and fit into it.
Have you ditched the buffet tops for good now?
I threw them out last May. My boyfriend held the bin bag open, and I was like: ‘This is shit. You can go!’ I was throwing them in and it was proper liberating. I did only have, like, one top left in my wardrobe. But it’s an excuse to go shopping.
So what’s the aim now – do you intend losing more weight?
I don’t really have a specific target in mind – it was always about my health. The fact that I can now wear bandage dresses is a massive added bonus.
Whose celebrity body inspires you the most?
I love Davina McCall. I know she’s older [she’s 49], but she’s not skinny, she’s fit. She looks strong and healthy.
The whole day was a treat really. I think it’s still important to have treats, though. I still have chicken kebabs. But, once you’ve done the DVD workout, you don’t want to have a second bag of crisps. I’m like: ‘I’ve done this, let’s get fit!’
Are you still going out and drinking?
You know what? I’m not actually a massive drinker, so that hasn’t really changed. But I still go out whenever something is on.
Do you calorie count?
No. [Laughs] You know what? You drive yourself insane!

Remember Heartbreak High? Back in the late 90s we were obsessed with bad boy Drazic, played by New Zealand-born Callan Mulvey, and his romance with fellow high school pupil Anita (oh, that eyebrow piercing of his!). An Australian prequel to the likes of Dawson’s Creek and The OC, the show followed the kids of fictional Hartley High in Sydney as they snogged, fought and eventually graduated. But what became of heartthrob Callan and that eyebrow ring?
From one soap to the next
Callan went on to star in Home And Away from 2006 to 2008 as Johnny Cooper – another bad boy with a penchant for crime. He’s also starred in stuff like Aussie police drama Rush and films like 300: Rise Of An Empire and Zero Dark Thirty. Lots of fighting and thrillers, then.
Car crash
It’s not just on screen that Callan’s life has been dramatic. He was involved in a high speed, head-on car crash in 2003 at over 100km per hour and was trapped in the vehicle for over an hour until he was eventually freed. The actor suffered terrible injuries to the head and had 17 titanium plates inserted into his skull to repair fractures in his jaw. The scars are still visible. Callan revealed: ‘It’s incredible what they did considering the first call my parents got was: “It’s bad and we don’t know if he’s gonna make it… and if he does he’ll have pretty severe brain damage.”’
Return to form
After getting over his crash, Callan took to the big screen for a role in last year’s Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice, playing super- villain Anatoli Knyazev (of course he had to be a villain – check out that brooding stare) and gave Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill a run for their money in the hunk stakes. And this year he’s got more big films coming out of the bag, including Bleeding Steel with Jackie Chan. But we’ll always remember him as teen crush Drazic. Maybe you should get that eyebrow ring back out, Call…

Ever since she made the decision to re-enter public life, Kim Kardashian has remained the name on the lips of many, by her posting cute, previously unseen pictures of her family.
However, a recent outing she’s made has had people talking once again – and it seems as if North and Saint West may be welcoming another sibling in the next few months!
Kim, who’s recently had to fend off fierce ‘divorce’ rumours with rapper hubby Kanye West, was spotted out and about in California on Saturday, emerging from a pre-natal clinic.
Having visited the same clinic before announcing her pregnancies with three-year-old daughter North, and 13-month-old Saint, it’s certainly a big way to get the rumour mill spinning!
Kimye’s desire to expand their family has been well documented, with Kanye making a claim that they were ‘having fun practicing baby-making’ on The Ellen Show in 2016. (Ick.) Kim also made reference in an episode on last season’s Keeping Up With the Kardashians to her wanting another child. However, due to complications while carrying children previously, Kim’s doctors have voiced concern to her carrying again.
