Sophia has reached out to the 1D star
It seems like the whole world was ready to congratulate One Directioner, Liam Payne and his superstar girlfriend, Cheryl on the birth of their little one last month.
Well, it was one of the most hotly anticipated pregnancies EVER…
And after it was claimed Cheryl’s ex-hubby, Ashley Cole had dropped the happy couple a message, now it was the turn of Liam’s former partner Sophia Smith to reach out.

The fashion graduate dated 23-year-old Liam for two years back in 2013 until they called it quits in October 2015.
But despite once describing the Cheryl and Liam’s ten-year age gap as ‘weird’ (err… ouch!) – now Sophia has revealed there are no hard feelings between the two of them.

Speaking at Coachella festival, Sophia admitted she actually contacted the X Factor star following his exciting news as she told The Sun: ‘I messaged to congratulate him.We’re all good. I’m happy for him.’
Sweet, right?
Liam and Cheryl started dating in early 2016 and the pair had their first baby just last month but the 1D star has since jetted to the States to work on his solo album – which he’s reportedly planning to drop later this month. (Eeek!)
However despite being thousands of miles away, new dad Liam has recently been gushing about his little family, telling fans outside a restaurant in LA that he ‘misses him a lot’.
Cheryl has also been updating fans on her life as a new mum, making it clear that she’s completely smitten with her baby by changing her Twitter and Instagram bio to: ‘Living in a love bubble’.
AW! Although there was speculation that Cheryl’s hair stylist Daya Ruci shared a Snapchat of their tot hanging out at the salon last week, Liam and Cheryl haven’t revealed any snaps of their son following his arrival last month.
And with no word of the little’un’s name yet, Chiam baby fever isn’t over just yet.
