The Take Me Out: The Gossip host, 29, opens up on matchmaking and hosting dinner parties…

Tell us about the new series of Take Me Out: The Gossip. Is there anything new for us to look forward to?
We have a new slot, Sunday night at 9pm, loads more drama and loads more fun! This year Mark Wright and
I go out with the couples to Fernando’s and we have some fabulous characters.
We love the show – it’s
kind of a different beast to regular Take Me Out, with all the couple swapping!
Does it blow your mind when that happens?
Yes, it does. But it’s great because the couples are there to find love. Be that with the partner they came to Fernando’s with or someone else’s date…
What do you think it is about dating shows that people love?
They love love! Relationships are simple yet complex
and we can all relate.
How often do you
get to hang out with
Paddy McGuinness?
Paddy’s with the girls in
the studio and we’re in Fernando’s filming as
the action happens, so
we don’t film together. But we’re all friends. He’s just brilliant, isn’t he?
What about Mark Wright?
Do you ever go out
boozing together?
Mark’s the best. He’s like my annoying brother and I’m
his annoying sister. We’re
like yin and yang, but we really get on and have so much fun together.

You have your finger
in loads of pies. Do you still run a supper club with radio presenter Alice Levine?
Yes. We have a supper
club called Jackson & Levine. Our first book is out later this year.
What do you love
watching on telly?
I love Strictly, Ant &Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway
and Come Dine With Me.
All the classics.
What else do you
enjoy doing during
your time off?
Days off are few and far between, but I usually hang out in the pub with my boyfriend, mates and whippet Barry. Usually with a bowl of chips and
a glass of red!
