Is there hope for these star-crossed lovers?
They’ve had one of the most turbulent romances to hit our TV screens, but it looks like it might not be all over for TOWIE stars Megan McKenna and Pete Wicks. Despite their fiery romance, sources close to the pair reveal that Pete ‘hasn’t given up’ and is still in love with his sexy ex.
Now watched as the pair spent an evening looking pretty cosy at the plush Jog On To Cancer event at London’s Kensington Roof Gardens last week. Afterwards, Megan, 24, confided in Now about the split, saying: ‘It’s hard, but I’m doing OK. Tonight it’s all about my girls and having fun.’

However, it seems Pete isn’t over her at all. A source says: ‘He’s still besotted. He started off the evening at the opposite end of the bar from her, but before long he was by her side and spending a lot of the night with Megan and her little sister. Megan didn’t seem to mind. She was enjoying his company. He kept saying how gorgeous she looked and she was blushing.’
The pair, who got together in April 2016, split up in September following a series of rows stemming from 28-year-old Pete’s infamous sexting of his ex-girlfriend Jacqui Ryland. But despite Megan taking him back, the pair couldn’t make things work and recently decided to go their separate ways. Megan confessed on TOWIE that they were both unhappy and making each other miserable.
It didn’t take long for things to turn sour after rumours that Megan, who’s launched her own MCK Grill in Essex, had a night out with an ex-boyfriend and pals following her split with Pete.
Yet despite the drama, friends insist Pete still carries a torch for Megan. His bestie Chloe Sims, 35, was overheard saying at the event: ‘He still loves her. The fire’s still there. He hasn’t given up. We’ll see what happens!’
