Hunky Disney heroes Prince Eric, Prince Charming, Hercules and more have been reimagined as actual human men by digital artist Jirka Väätäinen, and the results are drool-inducing...

We can’t be alone in wishing – sometimes even fantasising – that some of the hottest Disney Princes (Eric from The Little Mermaid, we’re looking at you) existed IRL. Can we? Tell us we’re not alone here!
Good. Now that we’ve all admitted that we’re a little bit in love with Disney’s hunkiest (and yes, we know, totally fictional) characters, you’ll be pleased to know that we’re one step closer to knowing what Eric and the gang would look like if they were actual men thanks to an artist called Jirka Väätäinen.
For the series titled Real Life Disney, the Melbourne-based digital artist- who originally hails from Finland – used digital compositing, photo manipulation, and digital painting to create the hyper-real pictures of some of Disney’s dishiest leading men.
In addition to Eric (YES), they include the likes of dashing Prince Phillip from Sleeping Beauty, blonde-haired Pocahontas hero John Smith, and Cinderella heartthrob Prince Charming, who – with his chiselled jaw, blue eyes and slick hairstyle – has us all sorts of hot under the collar. Don’t even get us started on the uniform. HUBBA HUBBA.
The series also other animated favourites including Aladdin, Hercules, Tarzan, Captain Li Shang from Mulan,Captain Phoebus from The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and even the shaggy-haired Beast (AKA Prince Adam from Beauty and the Beast), who is pictured with his long mane thrown dramatically behind him. Swoon.
Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, Jirka said of his work: ‘I find inspiration in different real life pictures and borrow elements from different sources.’
And unsurprisingly his work has gone down well with an army of appreciative Disney fans – the pictures have achieved more than 20,000 likes on the artist’s Facebook page, and have been shared almost 38,000 times!
