They were just about to move in together, but Charlotte Crosby has had a sudden change of heart and ended things with her on-off boyfriend Mitch Jenkins
They’re no strangers to on-again, off-again romance, but now it seems like Charlotte Crosby and Mitch Jenkins have parted for good.
Charlotte, 25, first dated Mitch for 18 months before she entered the Geordie Shore house in 2011. They first split after Mitch became unhappy about her involvement with the show, but they reunited some months later. Rumours of a new split first surfaced back in April, when Charlotte send a tweet that said: ‘When your heart begins to fall in a million pieces, then you won’t be able to recognise this feeling…’
Now it seems like the speculation was correct. In an interview with Australian radio station hit92.9, Charlotte said: ‘I haven’t announced it in England yet, but we’ve split up.’
Despite the couple having a reputation for splitting and reuniting, it seems like this time really is the end, with Charlotte saying she isn’t ready for the ‘commitment’ of moving in with Mitch.
‘We had just come back from Greece…and I think I realised a lot in my head. Me and Mitch were supposed to be moving in together and I was going to move down to London with him, and I then realised that wasn’t the place I wanted to be. I didn’t want to leave my mum and I didn’t want to leave my family and I think the commitment made us take a couple of steps back,’ she explained.
‘I thought, “is this really going to work? Is this really what I want for the rest of my life?” That’s a big commitment isn’t it…so I got back from Greece, and I finished things, and we haven’t been back together ever since. I think that’s it now.’
Sob! It all sounds very final…but knowing Charlotte, she’ll be fine!
