Back in 2005, Kylie Minogue was sadly diagnosed with breast cancer. Today, Kylie has candidly spoken about how her cancer battle changed her baby plans.

Sometimes, it feels like all anyone ever wants to talk about is babies, babies and more babies. Right? Right.
And so, it’s probably fair to assume that Kylie Minogue is probably a teeny tiny bit tired of talking about popping out mini-Minogue’s- having been continually asked about her family plans since maybe forever.
Despite this, however, Kylie has now candidly discussed why she is yet to become a mother.
Back in 2005, the 48-year-old was shockingly diagnosed with breast cancer- something Kylie has now frankly discussed in relation to why she is yet to become a mother.
Speaking to The Sunday Times Magazine, Kylie explains: ‘When cancer strikes, you really have to consider all of that’.

Kylie, who is currently engaged to actor Joshua Sasse, then added: ‘Trust me, there’s a point when the next person who says, ‘Well, there are many options’, you want to scream. Of course, it’s great there are options [for having children]. It’s marvellous! But when you’re dealing with all the other stuff and things that you took for granted are taken away from you, it’s like, yes there are options, but…’.
Speaking of not having children, Kylie explained: ‘I guess you have those visions of, god, what would my child look like, be it a boy or a girl? What would I see of myself in them? That’s saddening, but I’ve thought about it for a long time and I’ve had to face that for a long time’.
Kylie then added that, although it may never happen, having children with Joshua would ‘be incredible’.
The last time Kylie spoke so candidly about her plans for children was back in 2014, in which the singer had shared with The Daily Mail that ‘I think maybe part of this frame of mind I’m in… is really acknowledging that it just might not be written on the pages for me. You can’t have everything, so I’d rather just focus on what I have instead of what I don’t have’.
Wishing Kylie all the best for 2017!
