Ore Oduba is pretty much on cloud nine right now after his surprise victory on Strictly Come Dancing over the weekend.

And now it looks like things are about to get even better for the presenter as he’s revealed that he’s planning to start a family with wife Portia – awww.

Does THIS prove the Strictly ‘fix’ accusations are true?

Ore, 30, has endured a lot of time apart from his Manchester-based other half whilst filming Strictly in London, and now it’s all over he’s ready for them to settle down a bit more.

‘We are looking forward to having a family but we haven’t necessarily been in one place or one time together,’ he explains.

‘We are waiting for the time to be settled after this whole whirlwind and being in the same city will help.’

Ore was cheered on by TV researcher Portia when he and dance partner Joanne Clifton lifted the Glitterball Trophy on Saturday night.

It’s obviously been tough being so far apart during the series, with Ore calling the commute to visit each other ‘stressful’ and ‘strenuous’, and the Strictly champ is very grateful to his wife for continuing to stick by him through it all.

‘I’d imagine it’s not easy being a Strictly partner,’ he tells the Daily Mirror. ‘She has her own work, family and friends in Manchester but then you’ve got the 24/7 support role that is being my wife.

‘She had it full on but she loved it. I couldn’t have done it without her.’

Making plans with Portia isn’t the only exciting thing coming up for Ore following his Strictly triumph.

The sports presenter looks set to make big bucks as he’s reportedly at the centre of a £500,000 bidding war between his current employer the BBC and ITV.

Ore impressed when he stood in for Phillip Schofield on This Morning last month and it’s thought that the BBC are going to offer him more opportunities to prevent him from leaving for the other channel.

‘It’s clear Ore’s a rising star and he’s now a household name because of Strictly,’ an insider tells The Sun. ‘They’ll schedule a meeting for after Christmas and try to nail him down with an exclusive deal that could see him be one of their top talents and earn up to £500,000.’

Oh, and the dancing star is also going to be showing off his moves once again on the Strictly tour. What a year 2017 is going to be for Ore, eh?
