Lauren Goodger's relationship with Jake McLean is firmly back on track
They haven’t had the easiest ride in their romance, but Lauren Goodger and Jake McLean look every inch the happy couple these days.
The former TOWIE star posted a note on her Instagram last week that read: ‘Be w/ someone who will take care of you. Not materialistically, but take care of ur soul, ur wellbeing, ur heart, & everything that’s you [sic].’

It seems that she’s found that person in Jake. The pair broke up last December, but rekindled their romance in May, and have been pretty much inseparable ever since. In one picture, they posed beneath a ‘LOVE’ wall sign, just in case we needed reminding that they are totally back on track.
Last weekend, the pair enjoyed cocktails and cosied up on a red lip-shaped sofa – which Lauren handily appeared to have matched her trainers to. She hinted at a cheeky weekend in the caption, writing: ‘Had too many giggles this weekend!’
Despite Jake’s dodgy past – he previously served three and a half years in prison for armed robbery – Lauren has repeatedly been keen to prove she’s devoted to him. She has his name tattooed on her wrist, and according to pals, has already picked a wedding dress!
Jake is rumoured to be planning to propose on her birthday in September, and the pair have both spoken of their desire to have some mini Goodger-McLeans. Now previously revealed that Lauren wants children before they marry, and Jake seems to be in agreement, adding ‘sooner rather than later!’
It’s not the first time Lauren’s had big plans for her future. She first got together with Jake in 2012 and said she wanted to settle down, but a proposal never materialised. This time around, she seems determined to show the world how in love they are. Will Jake finally get down on one knee? Watch this space!
