‘I don’t think he trusts anyone,’ Geordie Shore’s Marnie Simpson reveals the REAL reason why she isn’t with Aaron Chalmers

Rumours of their engagement were greatly exaggerated

There were rumours everywhere that Marnie Simpson and her Geordie Shore near-beau Aaron Chalmers were going to get MARRIED last week after she was spotted with a ring on her finger…

…Until she brutally squashed the rumours in a tweet informing everyone (correctly) that it was on the wrong hand. Oops. Well, the Newcastle beauty has clarified her position on the whole relationship business, and it doesn’t look like they’re getting together any time soon.

Writing in her column for Star magazine, she said: ‘Aaron and I have serious trust issues, which is why we can’t be together. I don’t think he trusts anyone.

‘I have my issues as well, though. We both need to work on ourselves before we can have a relationship. He’ll always have a place in my heart, but we need to be single for now.’

Marnie originally corrected the marriage rumours on Twitter by telling her followers: ‘It’s on my RIGHT hand. Use your brain. Please. It’s taken in a mirror so it’s therefore the opposite way around’

But people have been awaiting a relationship announcement for AGES, and the pair looked even closer as they filmed the newest series of the MTV reality show over the summer.

They were pictured holding hands and even tashing on for a bit.

So everyone hoping THIS is the next big Geordie Shore romance… well, we’ll have to wait and see. Sorry!
