Kendall and Kylie Jenner join their sisters to support Caitlyn Jenner at the ESPY Awards

Caitlyn Jenner nearly had her children in tears last night as she made a highly emotional speech at the ESPY Awards in Los Angeles.
The 65-year-old former Olympian took centre stage to collect the Arthur Ashe Courage Award in acknowledgement of her brave public transition and appeared visibly moved by the positive response.
She received a standing ovation whilst making her way to the stage and revealed how her journey over the past few months had been ‘eye-opening, inspiring and also frightening’ during a powerful 10-minute speech.
‘I’m clear with my responsibility going forward,’ Caitlyn told the star-studded audience.
‘To tell my story the right way for me, to keep learning, to do whatever I can to reshape the landscape of how trans issues are viewed, of how trans people are treated, and more broadly to promote a very simple idea: accepting people for who they are.’
The TV star’s famous family – including youngest daughters Kendall and Kylie, sons Brody and Brandon and her Kardashian stepchildren – watched on as Caitlyn emotionally spoke of how she’d tried to avoid causing them any harm during her transition.
‘The biggest fear I always had about coming out is: I never wanted to hurt anyone else,’ she said with her voice audibly catching.
‘Most of all, my family and my kids. I always wanted my children to be so proud of their dad. What he was able to accomplish in his life.
‘You guys have given so much back to me, you’ve given me so much support. I am so, so grateful to have all of you in my life. Thank you.’
Kylie, 17, was seen welling up whilst Kendall, 19, wiped a tear away from her eye.
Before Caitlyn’s speech a video clip was shown about her journey in which Kendall appeared and revealed how proud she was of her dad.
‘To finally be free, that must be the greatest feeling in the world,’ the model said.
It was clearly an incredibly emotional night for Caitlyn and the whole family but there were some light-hearted moments.
The award-winning star – who wore a stunning long white gown for the occasion – joked that she’d learned how hard it is to pick out an outfit.
‘Okay, girls, I get it,’ she quipped. ‘You’ve got to get the shoes, the hair, the make-up; it was exhausting. And the fashion police, please be kind on me. I’m new at this.’
