Caroline Flack hosts the final of Love Island and we hear wedding bells!
Sad times – it’s the finale of Love Island tonight people. Sob. But fear not! It’s finishing with a bang!
There’s only a bloomin’ proposal happening!
At the beginning of the series, we NEVER thought that it would end with a Love Island wedding, but the TV gods have blessed us with an amazing bit of telly gold tonight.
As the island of lurrrve holds a Love Island Commitment Ceremony for the couples, the girls were buys picking big, frilly dresses for the occasion, while the boys knuckled down and wrote their vows for the their one and only. But while most of the guys were content with declaring their commitment, a particular Jon Clark wanted to whole hog with the whole commitment deal.
Confiding to fellow islander Josh about apple of his eye, Hannah Elizabeth, Jon confessed: ‘I’m going to propose to her tonight.’
And Josh’s reaction to a proposal on actual TV in front of thousands watching at home was pretty much the same as ours would be.
‘Are you being serious?’
Jon told him that he was ‘100 per cent serious’ and that he was really nervous. Don’t blame you!
‘You’ve got some f**king balls if you’re going to do it.’
Words have never been truer coming out of Josh’s mouth.
And if you thought that Jon wasn’t being serious, he even rang Hannah’s dad and her parent’s blessing. Aw – what a traditionalist!
‘Go on, go do it…you’ve got mine and Colette [Hannah’s mum] blessing, 100 per cent.’
Thankfully Hannah’s dad said yes (despite him watching his little girl go ALL the way with Jon – cringe ahoy…) Now here’s hoping that Hannah says yes as well!
‘It’s the perfect fairytale and I couldn’t be happier…I just f**king pray she says yes!’
You and us both Jonny boy!
We can’t wait to watch the final and see Hannah’s reaction on tonight’s final on ITV2 at 9pm!
Wonder if Caroline Flack would be bridesmaid in some signature short shorts?
