Louis Tomlinson baby news that has shocked the world
One Direction star Louis Tomlinson is set to become a dad, according to breaking reports.
People.com says that the singer is expecting a baby with American Briana Jungwirth, who he dated in May.
Louis, 23, hooked up with stylist Briana, also 23, two months after his split with long-term girlfriend Eleanor Calder.
A friend of the pair exclusively tells The Sun: ‘Louis is really excited about becoming a dad.
‘It was obviously a surprise but they are both really happy. Louis and Briana have spent a lot of time together and are really close.
‘Louis really cares about Briana and thinks she will be a great mum. Their friendship has got even stronger though this.’
Louis has apparently already broken the news to his One Direction band mates – Harry Styles, Niall Horan and Liam Payne, all 21.
The Doncaster-born star has apparently vowed to stand by Briana and be a hands-on dad. He’s even said to have looked into buying a property in LA to be close to her.
A friend tells People: ‘Louis and Briana care about each other very much and have spent a lot of time together privately over the last few months.
‘They are both really happy and although they aren’t in a relationship, their friendship is extremely strong and they are both really excited about the baby. It’s early days and Briana and the baby’s health are the most important things right now.’
Adds the pal: ‘Briana is a really lovely girl; she’s absolutely not interested in Louis’ fame. She’s very private and most of the time they spend together is out of the public eye, just hanging out with their friends.’
If the news is confirmed he will be the first member of the world’s biggest boyband to have a child.
