Really good. We’ve just come back from Dubai, which was chilled and nice. It’s the most serious it’s been and we’re looking to step things up – maybe move in together.
Chloe’s given you lots of chances – you’re a bit like a cat with nine lives! Was there ever a moment when you thought you’d lost her?
Yes, and it’s not a nice feeling. I’ve been with Chloe since I was very young – we’ve been together about eight years now, so we’re going to have ups and downs. We’re in a good place at the moment, but I don’t want to jinx anything!
When Mike Hassini told Chloe he liked her, did you worry she’d leave you for good?
We’re fine now, but it’s hard to trust people when they do things like that. I wasn’t worried too much about him – it was more about all the pain I’d put Chloe through. I had to change myself.
Was there ever a moment you looked at your behaviour and knew you’d been particularly bad to Chloe?
Yes, I suppose the kiss with Lauren Pope. I really regret it. Everyone turned against me! I wasn’t with Chloe at the time but I denied it and pretended it didn’t happen in front of Lauren. When I think about it now it’s funny, but it wasn’t at the time.
Do you see marriage and kids happening soon?
I’ve been with Chloe so bloody long I get asked this a lot. I don’t know… I love kids. Chloe’s got a lovely niece and I have godchildren who I love looking after and taking to nice places. I want children, but I can’t say all this to Chloe now. It’s something to think about, though.
What’s the most romantic thing you’ve ever done?
I made Chloe a dress recently.
Do you believe in love at first sight?
I was going to say yes, but I think I’ll say no.
Er, why?
Because when I met Chloe she said she didn’t fancy me straight away!
