She might have got half her fabulous genes from the one and only Victoria Beckham but it seems Harper has a very bright future in football just like dad David!
We think Harper Beckham is one little girl who could definitely tell you the offside rule! Move over Mel C, her mum might be Posh but it seems there is a new Sporty Spice in town!
And it seems the England Woman’s football team may have spotted potential in the youngest of the Beckham brood! After David Beckham, 40, uploaded a picture to Instagram of three-year-old Harper scoring a goal in the garden of the Beckham‘s London home on Saturday he followed up with a picture of Harper’s very own England football strip sent especially for the tot by the team!
He captioned the picture: ‘What an amazing gift from the @england woman’s team for Harper’ and wished them luck in their match against France.
The kit, which is personalized with the number seven (which was her dad’s number and is her middle name) definitely won’t be catching dust in the back of Harper’s very fashionable wardrobe (thanks to mummy Victoria Beckham). The three year old might already be a style icon but according to David she often puts on her football boots and ‘runs around the garden with her brothers’.
In fact, Harper‘s football future is looking so bright Paddy Power are offering 8/1 for future Harper to don the England strip permanently and join the team, saying, ‘It’s easy to harp on about young footballing talent, but at least one of the Beckham kids is sure to come good.’
However, this isn’t to say that Harper doesn’t have the best of both worlds. So as not to be exclusive to the football boots, the tot apparently loves being in ‘Victoria’s heels every single day’. This must be a relief to VB, 41, who jokingly described Harper‘s love of football as a ‘dagger’ in her very fashionable heart last week during a panel show. Who knew someone could be so happy about a three year raiding their wardrobe!
Whether Harper feels like dressing up in this season’s Victoria Beckham or having a kick about with her brothers (or both…at the same time) we know she’ll be doing it in the most fabulous way ever! Now, where’s our personalised England football kit…
