After facing backlash for her fragile frame Cheryl hits back with one of her hottest X Factor outfits today
Cheryl Fernandez-Versini might have been the subject of nasty body haters of late, but that wasn’t going to hold her back when it came to the first day of The X Factor auctions in Manchester! Oh no!
The 32-year-old judge – who was recently branded a ‘bag of bones’ by a follower – decided to show off her toned abs and chiselled arms in a black crop too and fitted black trousers instead!
Yes, we must say she does look slightly smaller than she has been in the past but blimey, she’s looking damn good too!
Cheryl was joined by Nick Grimshaw, Rita Ora, Simon Cowell and new hosts Caroline Flack and Olly Murs for the 2nd round of auditions.
Cheryl, who looked chuffed to be back on the show, recently hit back at the body shamers who’ve been calling her too thin by posting a lengthy rant on Instagram.
The singer was snapped looking gaunt and pale on holiday in Italy when husband Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini took her on a romantic break to Italy for her birthday and it’s caused some fans to worry about her weight.
One user reportedly commented on Instagram: ‘Bag of bones u looked so much healthier in the early girls aloud days with ur lovely curves’
But the remark clearly upset Cheryl.
‘I am so sick and tired of it being ok to call somebody to thin or a “ bag of bones”!’ the singer angrily wrote back.
‘I would never dream of calling somebody too fat and that they should maybe cut down on their food intake ? What is the difference ?’
Cheryl also revealed in her post that she’s been through some trying times lately, including the loss of JB’s father, so this may have affected her appearance.
‘You have no idea what I have been through,’ the X Factor judge explained.
‘Just loosing my father in law v recently and everything that comes with that. Not that I am or should justify myself to anyone.
‘But I’m so f sick of people thinking it’s ok to be mean or body shame anyone. And it’s always woman on woman.
‘Have some respect and maybe think there may be reasons why before opening your mouth please’
Cheryl is clearly hoping to encourage better body image amongst her fans too. The former Girls Aloud star sent a sweet message to a fan on Twitter last night who’d posted a derogatory comment about herself.
‘Can’t look in the mirror without feeling physically sick with the way I look,’ the girl Tweeted, causing Cheryl to respond: ‘please don’t talk like that it makes me sad. You’re such a gorgeous young woman.’
