Spare a thought for poor old poverty-stricken Coronation Street star Ryan Thomas.
He has been on FIVE holidays this year despite being declared bankrupt.
The 31-year-old actor, who plays Jason Grimshaw on the ITV show, still hasn’t cleared his debts following a string of bad investments.
Ryan was made bankrupt in October 2013 after owing £40,000 in tax.
Yet he looked like he didn’t have a care in the world as he soaked up the sun stretching out his selfie stick to take a good’un while on a boat in the middle of the ocean with pals. His cash crisis didn’t stop him rolling around in a £75,000 Mercedez SL at Christmas either.

It seems it is becoming a thing for bankrupt stars to keep up their lavish lifestyles despite not having cleared their debts.
Former EastEnders star Danniella Westbrook was pictured with a designer handbag after declaring herself bankrupt too.
Life doesn’t seem so, erm, taxing for Ryan either following his jaunts this year.
First the doting dad jetted off to Orlando, Florida, for a tour of its theme parks with adorable six-year-old daughter Scarlett, whose mum is Corrie’s Tina O’Brien.
A day after landing he was off on a lad’s holiday in Ibiza, then it was Tenerife for Emmerdale pal Kelvin Fletcher’s stag do. He grabbed his wellies and was off again to Glastonbury for a weekend of fun, then he was in Northern Ireland for a £135-a-night walking holiday.
But pals have leapt to his defence and say he has been doing £2,000-a-night personal appearances to help pay off his debts.
A source told The Sun: ‘He is working hard away from the screen to bring in extra cash,’ adding ‘He had a few investments that let him down. In fact, Ryan was a victim of trying to make his money work by investing it.’
What, on sun tan lotion?
While it’s all well and good that he’s working to pay off his debts, all this swanning around on sunloungers surely won’t do him any favours with the tax man …
