Tim puts the split down to his being 'fed up with fame'
Once again, the burden of fame has claimed a relationship – and this time, it’s that of Jessie Wallace and her musician boyfriend Tim Arnold.
After dating for four years, the EastEnders actress and Tim, otherwise known as ‘The Soho Hobo’ have split after Tim grew uninterested in being in the public eye.

Speaking to the Mirror earlier this week, Tim confirmed that they were no longer a couple, and stated his disillusion with fame:
‘People just want to know about the celebrities you know or have been with. I am tired of it.’
Coincidentally, Tim’s godmother is June Brown, who stars alongside Jessie in the BBC soap as long-time character Dot Branning.
Jessie and Tim first began dating in 2012 after being introduced to one another at the Soap Awards. When asked how long it was since they had been a couple, he replied: ‘Oh, not for a long time.’

Tim auditioned for The Voice UK in 2015 in an attempt to boost his singing career. While he was chosen for Ricky Wilson’s team, he was eliminated in the second round after losing a battle against the eventual winner, Stevie McCrorie.
This is yet another unfortunate roadbump in Jessie’s love life. She was previously engaged to Vince Morse in 2011, but called the wedding off on the day they were due to marry after it emerged that he’d sent explicit text messages to an ex-lover – one of the messages, bizarrely, containing an intimate picture of Jessie.
Though it may be bad news on the romance front, Jessie has plenty of reasons to celebrate – she is due to start filming an EastEnders spin-off show with on-screen husband Shane Richie in April, documenting Kat and Alfie Moon’s journey to Ireland.
