After bookies' dramatically slash Stephanie Davis' odds of winning, we speculate on why she could really walk away as the CBB champion

After being part of one of the most controversial love stories in CBB history, Stephanie Davis has undoubtedly been one of the series’ most talked about contestants.
She came into the house with one boyfriend, model Sam Reece, and will (hopefully) leave with another in the form of evicted housemate Jeremy McConnell – and because of it, she’s gotten a loud chorus of boos from the outside crowd during the live shows.
But recently, it’s looking more and more as if the public have warmed up to her. In just ten days, odds on Stephanie to win have drastically fallen from 100/1 to 10/1!

According to bookmaker William Hill, she was the hot favourite to get the boot nearly a fortnight ago, instead of Megan McKenna – but she escaped the chop and now looks set to make it to Friday’s final.
As of right now, Tiffany Pollard is the general bookies’ favourite to steal the crown, with Scotty T in second place. But will Steph make a last-minute surge and run away with the whole show? Here are five reasons why it just might happen…
1. She’s funny
Boy drama aside, Steph’s some moments of pure comedy gold in the house – remember when Megan had one of her tantrums?! Stephanie reacted exactly how we wanted to:

2. She’s like everyone’s little sister
Yes, she’s messy. No, she doesn’t do her laundry as often as she probably should – let’s not delve into #Knickergate once again – and yes, she makes mistakes. But many, whether they’re older or younger than 22-year-old Steph, might be looking at her as a girl in need of a good hug, rather than the series villain!
3. She’s talented
Despite Danniella Westbrook predicting that she’ll never work again after CBB (yikes!), Steph’s career isn’t over just yet. Before her days playing Sinead O’Connor in Hollyoaks, Stephanie starred in the BBC talent contest Over The Rainbow.
Then in the early, more innocent days of the CBB, Stephanie wowed her fellow housemates with her impersonation of Amy Winehouse in the talent show. She ended up coming first place for her rendition of Valerie – see why below:

4. She’s got Zayn’s seal of approval
Stephanie recently told the story of how she got together with ex-boyfriend Zayn Malik – apparently, he ‘just wanted her’, and went through Niall Horan to get her number. After hours and hours of talking in his hotel room, they became an item – but she called it off when the growing pressures of fame were starting to get too intense.
And with rumours that Zayn’s been secretly been supporting her during the show, Steph seems to have a major thumbs-up from the 1D/Zayn collective – and with that, perhaps the votes of millions of loyal fans!

5. Everyone loves a good love story
Though it started off as something illicit, towards the end of Jeremy’s stay in the house these two started looking more and more like a perfect pairing. As Jeremy was leaving the house, he gave her his locket containing a picture of his late mum and brother. Now, if that’s not true love, what is?!
So will Stephanie avoid Tuesday night’s eviction to become victorious on Friday? Only we, the people, can decide…
