The meeting took place waaay back in 2009 when, by our estimations, Justin would have been 15 years old and Hailey just 13. Aww.

The footage – shared on Vine – shows the youngsters being introduced by Hailey’s dad, former Celebrity Big Brother star Stephen Baldwin.

But, from watching the short clip on a loop FAR too many times (for journalistic purposes, you understand), we’ve concluded that it wasn’t exactly what you’d call love at first sight – at least not for Hailey!
Whilst Justin clearly likes what he sees, giving a seductive shake off his sadly-no-more lovely long locks and flashing Hailey his best megawatt smile, she appears thoroughly unimpressed.
Clad in a brown jacket, young Hails keeps one arm firmly folded as she reluctantly shakes his hand and mutters ‘nice to meet you’ – although, given that she fails to even raise a smile, we don’t get the impression she meant it!
That said, you know how it is with super-awkward teenagers – her body language may have been saying ‘yeah, whatevs’, but on the inside she was probably screaming ‘ZOMGJUSTINBIEBERJUSTTOUCHEDMEI’MNEVERWASHINGAGAINZOMG!’
Plus, you know, her dad is being super embarrassing, gushing over the Biebs and telling him ‘we’ve been enjoying your music’. WHEN WILL DADS LEARN?
Following much speculation that the pair had hooked up, JB seemed to confirm the news by posting a slew of sexy pictures of him with his gorgeous girl over the festive period – including this one of them having a good old snog on New Year’s Eve…
Looks like she got over her initial hesitation, then!
