There's one rule for the boys, another for little Harper Lee

What does someone do when they return from a dream paradise holiday? If you’re David Beckham, it’s apparently win a humanitarian award.
Last night the 40-year-old footballer attended the 6th Biennial UNICEF Ball in Beverly Hills, where he received the Humanitarian Leadership Award for his work at the charity, including his BBC documentary David Beckham: For the Love of the Game.
But despite being a world-renowned footballer, charity worker and Sexiest Man Alive, he couldn’t help but talk about his kids. Specifically, about how he’s going to treat the four of them when it comes to dating.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, he said: ‘Obviously Brooklyn is definitely a that age. You know, he’s 16, he’s definitely at that age.
‘We’re strong parents, and strict parents, but we’re like most parents. We love our kids and we want the best for them, so we’ll see.’
That didn’t stop David from revealing that the rules may be slightly different for daughter Harper, than the boys, Brooklyn, Romeo, and Cruz.
We know, we rolled our eyes too. But it’s not in the way you think.
‘Oh yeah, that’ll definitely be different. I have no power that little girl – no power whatsoever.
‘I love all my children, of course, equally but I’m definitely stricter with the boys than I am Harper, which gets me in trouble with my wife of course.’
That is cute on so many levels.

Well done to David on the award though! In his emotional documentary, he played seven football games in seven continents, visiting mostly impoverished areas along the way. The touching scenes saw many calling for David to receive a knighthood after it was aired last year.
All of this goes to prove, big Beckham is just a big softie at heart.
