Vicky Pattison’s weight might be up and down but her feelings about her breast enlargement surgery have remained the same.
The former Geordie Shore star had a boob job last year after her dramatic weight loss left her feeling unhappy with her flat chest and she still has no regrets about going under the knife.
‘I thought about the boobs for 10 months,’ says Vicky, 27.
‘I’d see them shrink as I lost weight, and it wasn’t like it gave me these pert, itty-bitty titties – they just hung. So I was left with a pair of spaniel’s ears and nothing was going to help.
‘It was the only option for me to be body confident, and I’m pleased I did it.’
It sounds like Vicky doesn’t fancy having much more work done though.
‘I’m happy with the way I look,’ the reality star explains. ‘I’m not a Victoria’s Secret model and never wanted to be.
‘It’s nice when people have a bit of character to their face – when you get too much done, you merge into one.
‘And I think girls are getting an awful lot done at a young age.’
Reaching a happy place with her body hasn’t always been easy though. Vicky famously slimmed down from a size 16 to a tiny size 6/8 in 2013 but she admits that keeping in shape doesn’t come naturally to her.
‘I’m never going to be one of these people who swings their legs out of bed in the morning and thinks: “Right, I want eggs and avocado and I wanna go for a 10-mile run,”’ says Vicky.
‘I roll out of bed and me body screams for Pop-Tarts and breakfast TV and that’s it. So every day is a battle between what me stomach wants – Haribo, Doritos and sandwiches – and what me brain tells us I should be eating, and should be doing.
‘It’s hard and it’s horrible, especially when you’re on the go, living in hotels. I’m OK until about 8pm, then someone’ll do a chocolate run and next thing I know, I’m knee deep in Mars bars.’
We know the feeling, Vicky! The Newcastle lass has done remarkably well though and stays focused on her goals.
‘I like being able to pull a size 8 out of the wardrobe in the morning and being able to walk into Topshop and pick up what I want,’ Vicky tells Fabulous magazine.
‘And if that’s what I like, then I can’t have cake all of the time.’
