With the new series of TOWIE about to start, is Ferne McCann finally over all the Charlie Sims scandal?
Newly single Ferne McCann is never too far from drama. From cheating scandals with ex-Charlie Sims, to meetings and talks of her being in movies on the big screen, the 24-year-old is ready to take on whatever TOWIE and Marbs has to throw at her.
Here, she talks about the past and new series and the up and downs she faced.
Fearne, tell us about a time when…
You couldn’t stop crying…
The heartbreaks and ups and downs with Charlie. It was so emotionally draining. Plus it as my real relationship playing out on the show…very tough! There was one series where I think I cried in every episode.
You’d never been so angry…
When Charlie told me he had slept with 22 women in Vegas. I ripped the glasses off his face and chucked a drink at him. I couldn’t believe his sheer disrespect.
You felt betrayed…
When I found out that Charlie had cheated on me, and dealing with that on the show. You can’t get a bigger betrayal than that.
You were so in love…
The desperation of winning Charlie back after the Vegas pool random guy incident. I fought so hard for him to give me a second chance. And when he did in Marbella last year, I was so, so, so in love
You were full of regret…
When it came out that there was an overlap between Charlie and Frank Major. Some say I should have felt revenge.
You felt well jel…
I don’t get jealous. It bugged me a bit when Jasmin snogged Charlie, but jealous…really? There’s only one Ferne!
You realise how important friendship is…
When friends always have your back. Despite your mistakes, they will always be there for you. Billie [Faiers] tirelessly has my back. Even when I am in the wrong.
You couldn’t have been happier…
Now. I feel really confident and happy in my life right now. The world is my oyster, I’m looking forward to heading to Marbs as a single lady. I know what I want in life, what I want to achieve and where I want to do. How much happier than that can you get?
