Nominations for the 2016 Grammys are out - and Taylor Swift is a leader of the pack

She’s still unstoppable! Although Taylor Swift has had a fairly quiet second half of 2015, she remains the darling of the music industry as she is nominated for a massive SEVEN Grammys.
The Grammy nominations were announced live on US television by Alicia Keys, and 25-year-old ‘T-Swizzle’ was revealed to have an impressive seven nominations, including Song of the Year and Record of the Year for Blank Space.
Joining her album, 1989, in the running for the highly-coveted Album of the Year gong is To Pimp A Butterfly by rapper Kendrick Lamar, who she collaborated with for Bad Blood – ALSO nominated for the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance Grammy. Phew. Kendrick is the lead Grammy-nominated artist for the 2016, with an incredible eleven nominations under his belt.
Also in good stead for the awards is Ed Sheeran – his perfect-for-a-wedding-first-dance smash Thinking Out Loud is in the running for both Song and Record of the year; while the still-catchy Uptown Funk by Mark Ronson featuring Bruno Mars has a strong chance of winning Record of the Year.
We won’t find out who will reign victorious until 15th February, so until then, here’s the extended list of nominees – let us know who you think should win what @NowMag or in the comments!
