Appearing on your fellow X Factor judges' show gets you nothing but insults, apparently...
Nick Grimshaw whipped out the hard-hitting questions on BBC Radio 1 today after asking Cheryl Fernandez-Versini’s own band Reggie ‘N’ Bollie, in front of the Queen of X Factor herself, what they hated about her.
Naturally they were hesistant – is there anything bad to say about a human who calls you pet? – so Grimmy jumped in with his answer:
‘How slowly does she walk?’
That’s cold, Nick.
But Cheryl quickly responded: ‘It’s not my fault. I’m a size ten or three or something. I’m like “Nicholas wait! Wait for me!”’
We feel your pain Cheryl, even if that makes no sense.
Well her Ghanaian double-act defended their ‘boss’, as they lovingly call her, but they feel like she ‘worries too much.’
The Cheryl love train continued once 4th Impact made their arrival, their trademark positivity drowning out even the potentially hungover Grimmy, filling the airways with a chorus of ‘I love Cheryl’s’. You just don’t mess with Cheryl’s squad…
After what appeared to be a big night at the British Fashion Awards yesterday, Cheryl visited Grimmy’s breakfast show (admittedly a little worse for wear…) with the wonderful hashtag #GrimmyOnCheryl, so people could ask the pop-sensation some burning questions.
Fans obviously took this very serious, with one asking if she ever fell into a hole, and we can confirm that she has, in fact, ‘dodged a manhole.’ We’ll leave the innuendo to you.
Any X Factor criticism doesn’t seem to have bothered either of them, as both Nick and Cheryl still have acts in the finals – beating their X Factor boss Simon Cowell – but also, as pictures form the British Fashion Awards prove, the two of them are totally bezzies.
