Katie Price shared snaps of disabled son Harvey in hospital, prompting concern from her fans - but it's unclear why the 13 year old ended up there
Katie Price has shared emotional tributes to her son Harvey after he appears to have ended up in hospital.
In photos shared on Pricey’s Instagram page, 13-year-old Harvey is seen wearing a hospital gown and standing next to medical machines – prompting worried comments and messages of support from the former glamour model’s followers.
In one picture, Katie dubbed Harvey ‘my brave boy,’ whilst in another snap – a mother-and-son selfie – Kate wrote: ‘Love him sooooo much.’
It’s unclear why Harvey – who has multiple disabilities including blindness, autism, ADHD and Prader-Willi syndrome – ended up in hospital, but Katie’s fans were quick to send messages of support.
One wrote: ‘God bless brave boy Harvey.’
Another added: ‘Hi Harvey. Now what you doing in hospital? You do know its nearly Christmas! So what ever is the matter you need to get better for then, good luck gorgeous boy and be brave.’
Whatever the matter is, we hope Harvey is back home soon!
Harvey’s hospital visit comes just weeks after Katie won praise from viewers of This Morning for openly and honestly discussed her son’s condition.
In an interview with Phillip Schofield and Amanda Holden, she confessed that caring for him could sometimes prove difficult, saying: ‘It’s challenging, it’s hard work.
‘You don’t get to see what it’s like in the morning. He wets his bed. He doesn’t know how to aim on the toilet so we’re constantly cleaning his toilet.
‘But that’s part and parcel of having Harvey and I would not change anything.’
Unbelievably, Pricey also had to hit back at online trolls last month after they made fun of Harvey’s condition.
The reality star posted a photograph of a letter from the Great Ormond Street Hospital on her Instagram account this morning, alongside the caption: ‘People keep picking on Harvey and about his weight and speech give him a break jeez so you know this is Diagnoses so if you sick people still want to pick on him then you need mental help yourselves.’
