Nothing like a good old throwback, eh folks?
Now, whilst our throwbacks may be a little less fuelled with proving ‘how normal’ we are in the face of mega-stardom (and more about reassuring ourselves that yes we left our clothes in the washing machine without hanging them out again and YES we forgot to do the food shop so now we’re eating beans with a side of sadness AGAIN but we’ve improved since 2011), this isn’t to say we don’t love, love, love to see an A-List throwback.
We give you, Ed Sheeran.
The 24-year-old may have more awards under his belt than we have pairs of socks, but that certainly doesn’t make him any less humble.
He began his throwback-athon with a reply on Twitter to @Popjustice, in which Ed linked a video of a very early Sheeran song- captioned ‘your research didn’t go back as far as this, I have worse s**t out there’.
Whilst the tune, which is titled Addicted, might not be up to the usual Ed standard it’s still a far cry better than the snaps of our girls holiday to Malia…. *ahem*

The flame-haired crooner then continued his blast from the past with the unearthing of a rather golden clip of an appearance in ITV talent show Britannia High. (Skip to 2.47 for the moment you’ve unknowingly waited all your life for…).
Ed is totally taking it all on the chin though, explaining he ‘[doesn’t] mind the fact people can watch that, coz now I did learn to dance. Shows progress innit, and that I was once slim’.
