'I wish I would've had more time to thank him,' Justin Bieber said on Twitter as he paid tribute to friend and colleague Thomas Ayad

Justin Bieber has paid a touching tribute to a friend and colleague that was killed in last week’s terror attacks in Paris.
Universal Music Group executive Thomas Ayad – who was part of Justin’s ‘team’ for years – was amongst the 89 people tragically killed at the Eagles of Death Metal gig at the Bataclan in the French capital on Friday.
And the Biebs took to Twitter earlier today to share a touching tribute to his former workmate and pal, saying he wished he ‘had more time to thank him.’
In a picture note captioned ‘RIP Thomas’, the Purpose hitmaker wrote: ‘Still thinking about Paris and my friend Thomas that we lost in the tragedy.
‘He was a part of the team for years and I wish I would’ve had more time to thank him. Make sure to appreciate people while you have them.
‘Thanks Thomas for everything you did for me. You are appreciated and missed. Thoughts and prayers are with your family & friends #PrayForParis.’

Fans quickly sent messages of support to JB, with one writing: ‘I’m so sorry Justin. Praying for all his family and friends along with everyone else affected. They didn’t deserve this.’
Another added: ‘Omg Justin, I’m so sorry about Thomas. He always be in our hearts #PrayForParis.’
Universal Music Group’s chairman Lucian Grange confirmed the sad news that Thomas had died in the attacks in a letter to employees.
He wrote: ‘We have confirmed that Thomas Ayad, an international product manager for Mercury Records lost his life in the attack on the theatre. This is an unspeakably appalling tragedy. I cannot even begin to express the depth of my sorrow. On behalf of everyone here at UMG, we extend our most profound sympathies to his parents and all of his friends and family.’
We’re praying that Justin is coping with the sad news, which comes shortly after he admitted he was ‘struggling just to get through the days.’
In an interview with NME, the megastar admitted that he finds the pressures of fame difficult, confessing: ‘This life can rip you apart.’
He added: ‘I feel isolated. When you can’t go anywhere or do anything along you get depressed.
‘You’re in your hotel room and there are fans all around, paparazzi following you everywhere, and it gets intense.
‘I was like, “Dude, I didn’t sign up for that.” It’s like, “Can you guys just leave me alone, I just wanna make music. Please leave me alone.”‘
