Taylor Swift makes a confession during a performance in boyfriend Calvin Harris’s home country of Scotland
They might have only been dating for a few months but things seem to be progressing well for Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris.
In fact a beaming Taylor hinted that she might be IN LOVE with her Scottish beau during a gig in his home country last night – eek!
The 25-year-old singer appeared to give a subtle shoutout to boyfriend Calvin, 31, when she told the crowd at Glasgow’s SSE Hydro Arena: ‘Look at all of these amazing Scottish people in this room right now. I happen to love Scottish people, personally.’
We bet you do, Tay! The blonde star paid further tribute to Calvin’s homeland by revealing that she actually has roots there herself.
‘My dad sent me an email. It said our whole family is from Scotland, so I evidently am one of you,’ Taylor informed her fans.
Perhaps discovering her Scottish ancestry has made her connection with Calvin even stronger as Taylor certainly had love on the brain during the sold out show.
The Shake It Off star spoke of how she learned all about romance and how two people can make a dream match by watching loved-up films.
‘I did a lot of thinking about love, what we want from love and when we start learning,’ said Taylor.
‘But I remember, when I was growing up, I learned a lot about love from the movies we watched.
‘In those movies you had two very different main characters but somehow you just know they’re perfect for each other.’
Talking about Calvin there, Tay? It comes after a big week for the couple, during which Calvin praised his girlfriend following her battle with Apple.
Taylor penned an open letter on Tumblr on Sunday morning, shaming the tech giant for its ‘shocking’ decision not to pay artists during a three-month free trial offered to it’s subscribers.
After hours of negotiation the firm made a U-turn and will now pay every musician whose work is featured during the free trial when Apple Music is rolled out on June 30, a decision that made Calvin feel very proud.
