Adele has finally addressed those rumours circulating the internet about her headlining at Glastonbury Festival next year.
She told Capital FM on the Friday morning breakfast show: ‘I think I have made myself pretty clear on Glastonbury.’
‘The crowds are too big, I don’t know if I could do it. I went this year to watch Kanye and I literally just crapped my pants on the size of the audience. It was pretty insane.’
So that’s a no, right?

The singer has been doing a stream of radio interviews to promote her new single Hello which aired on Nick Grimshaw’s Radio 1 Breakfast Show for the first time today.
And, it’s not the first time that Adele has admitted she’s too daunted by the big crowds to perform at festivals.
In 2013 she told Q! magazine: ‘I will not do festivals. The thought of an audience that big frightens the life out of me. I don’t think the music would work either. It’s all too slow.’
‘I have anxiety attacks, constant panicking on stage, my heart feels like it’s going to explode because I never feel like I’m going to deliver, ever.’
But could you just imagine how incredible hearing 80,000 odd people singing Someone Like You would be?
Glastonbury would probably have to order in several trucks work of Kleenex.
Adele’s new album 25 (to follow on from 19 and 21) will be released on the 20th November, and we’re excited to see much more of her now that she’s finally making her musical comeback.
