Forget any ideas of elasticated waistbands or loose smock tops. The 34-year-old star – who announced in June that she and hubby Kanye West are expecting a sibling for daughter North – is more into dressing her bump in lace and leather. It’s unique, we guess?
Yep, as the months have gone on, Kim’s fashion choices have continued to get more and more outrageous. Maybe it’s the pregnancy hormones?
Whilst heading out in New York over the weekend with sister Kourtney, the expectant star showed off her tum in an eye-wateringly tight LATEX frock that definitely doesn’t appear to be from your average maternity line.
It’s not the first time over the past week that Kim’s tried an, um, unusual look to style her growing stomach though.
On Saturday she wore an incredibly short leather-look skirt and a revealing beige top that exposed an eyeful of cleavage (or two eyefuls, tbh).
Then there was that lacy number for an appearance at Givenchy’s New York Fashion Week show on Thursday, which was suitably created by Givenchy (funny, that).
The long black gothic-style gown featured a mesh middle section to expose Kim’s bump to the world. Whilst we think it’s lovely that the reality star wants to show off her pregnant tum, this outfit is giving us proper Morticia Addams vibes – sorry, Kim.
Things took a lighter turn last Wednesday when Kim opted for a camel skirt and jacket combo again by Givenchy, though kept her stomach under wraps with a slightly weird frilly bit on the tum. Kind of like a belly curtain.
With these increasingly experimental outfits, it’s got us wondering – what on earth will she wear next?!
